    *Refurbished* Samsung Buds+? Yes, please!

This is my third set of *Refurbished* Samsung Buds+ True Wireless earbuds and I can't recommend them highly enough. I did my research and Buds+ scored highly in multiple tech reviews from trusted sources without breaking the bank - even as well or better than the Samsung Buds2, Buds Pro, or Jabra 75t. I took a shot with my first pair and loved them. Then managed to lose one, naturally. I bought my second pair of refurbished and lucked out and scored red to match my brand new phone; a gorgeous deep red that matches my Samsung S20 fe (they look brighter red in the first picture then they really are). When my Air Force son's Jabra 75t gave out, I bought a pair of the Air Force blue, also a beautiful, rich color that really is Air Force blue, and sent them off to him. He thanked me unenthusiastically, being tied into his Jabra and all, until he tried them. Now, he likes these every bit as much as his 75t's, if not more, because he can use them independently of each other... This may not sound like much but it allows him to use them in certain work areas that he couldn't wear his others in for safety reasons. I use them independently as well... when I go walking or when I'm working in the house (where my mother lives with me), even though they have great ambient controls, I just personally feel more secure having one ear completely open. The in-app controls are excellent, and for the reasonable person, the sound quality is excellent for the price point. Are you going to be able to literally deafen yourself with these? Absolutely not. Are they more than enough in a setting where you don't have deafening noise around you, like machinery? Absolutely. I love that they have regular updates and now have a small two button control right on my phone face that they didn't before that allow for ambient listening changes, and quick disengagement of the touch feature when you don't want to accidentally hit it and turn them off or fast forward, etc. *This has been a super update for me because I am a sweat dog and I am constantly turning off whatever I'm listening to or fast forwarding three podcasts in the middle of a story because I accidentally brush the earbud as I'm wiping sweat away. The sensitivity is great, until it isn't. This new ability to simply turn off the touch when I start my walk has been a godsend. Bottom line, as inexpensive as the refurbished can be, it is so worth the investment since it carries the same warranty.

I have had these for two years and they are still amazing. They do an excellent job of blocking outside sounds. Unless of course you have ambient sound turned on, in which case you can listen to your music/podcasts and still be present.

Most satisfied with my buds+ purchase. The battery life was the main selling point for me and battery life is what I got and then some. The music quality and the ambient sound we're a couple of nice upgrades worth mentioning off the top. 10/10.

Be careful what you order, mine were clearly not refurbished. They were missing a set of ear pieces, and still had the previous owners residue (skin cells?) and beard trimmings inside of the silicone ear pieces. Their best resolution was for me to return these and hope the next set would be better, so I decided to just keep and disinfect these myself. You would think in todays climate they would have a better focus on sanitation. So I suppose the moral is even if you think it's clean, go ahead and clean it anyway.

    Never buy Best Buy refurbished

I've never bought anything refurbished but since it was a Best Buy refurbished, a well know retailer, figured I'd give it a shot. Also, I love these ear buds and since I lost mine, I wanted to get the same but Samsung stopped making them. Big mistake going refurbished. If this is what Best Buy considers refurbished, I'm definitely considering shopping somewhere else. This was garbage repackaged. It's unusable. Unless you're some kind of masochist and enjoy pain, then by all means have at it. The ear buds were badly scraped from the inside it was literally cutting my ear. Very painful just trying them on. Again, this is their definition of refurbished. Garbage repacked. Returned it the same day and bought the new version which was much cheaper.

Two parts to this review: buds & Best Buy. I did a lot of research on wireless earbuds before landing on these. I wanted wireless, in-ear types for two purposes: video conferencing for work during the pandemic and listening to music while I jog. So there were four main criteria: quality of both the speakers and the mic plus the fit and battery life. Overall, the sound quality is good and I’ve had no complaints about the mic. Four stars there. Battery life is fine, though I’m not pushing the limits yet. Still, I can use them for a good portion of the day and they don’t die. When I’m not using them, I put them in the case to recharge. All good. As far as the fit, well... it’s just ok. I have small ears so I was worried about these getting uncomfortable after a couple of hours. And so far, my concern was well founded. They aren’t heavy - so I don’t think that’s it. But after trying all of the combinations of parts mine came with (more on that in a minute), I find they make my ears ache after about an hour or so. It’s not enough to make me want to return them but it is something to be aware of. Overall, these are a good set of earbuds and serve the purposes I got them for just fine. Now, about this Geek Squad verified refurbished business. The description of the product when I bought them from the Best Buy website said the box supposedly included the buds, charging case, all ear fittings, and the charging cable - just like new. However, when my box arrived, it only had the buds, case, and 2 sets of ear fittings. No charging cable. So I spent over $100 on buds I couldn’t use because I couldn’t charge them. Awesome. I jumped on to the Best Buy website to chat with “customer service”. I got a bit of a runaround until I was eventually told I would have to go to a store (during the pandemic!) to either return or exchange my buds. So I make arrangements to do that. Here I’ll say that I live in a very rural community and the nearest store is 60 miles away. But I was leaving on a trip and I didn’t have time to wait for them to mail me a new set or whatever so I went to the store. At the store, I was first told by the guy at the door that my only option was to return because stores don’t sell refurbished. Instead of arguing with him, I just went to customer service. There, the guy who helped me said I could exchange or he could just give me the cord I needed. That solved the problem but why did I have to go to a store in the middle of a global health pandemic just to get a cord that should have been in the box in the first place?!? I get that this whole pandemic thing has really thrown everyone for a loop. My issue is that instead of Best Buy taking the initiative to make their mistake right, they put it on me. I now have functioning earbuds but I still don’t have all the ear fittings. So I don’t know what the meaning of “Geek Squad certified” is but I don’t think I’ll make the mistake of buying something through them again.

Sooo, I've done my research and decided on these. Great price point, nice battery life, compact case, inconspicuous size, user friendly. Ambient sound is nice but unnecessary , sound quality is good and I honestly don't hear any noise when I'm listening to music or a podcast. Theres no noise canceling so phone quality leaves something to be desired but sufficient. I originally purchased the live buds and returned them because they hurt my ears even with the small attachments and these fit nice. I have a galaxy s9+ and the Bluetooth cuts in and out occaxionally when my phone is in my pocket. This happened with both these and the buds live, so I am assuming my phones bluetooth is outdated or something ( this does NOT happen with my bose soundsport free). Just an FYI for anyone with an older phone. The box came with all attachments. My only issue being they were filthy, obviously not cleaned after someone returned/ wore them or they weren't refurbished. All good though, after a good scrub good as new.

The Galaxy Buds+ are pretty great. They sync up effortlessly, sound great, and are hardly noticable while wearing them. This was a refurbished item and it arrived looking like new, although it did not come with the original box or any paperwork, which is to be expected. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they came with generic rubber ear tips, which are too big and do not allow the earbuds to charge unless you take the tips off. You can find ones that will fit for cheap online, so it's a bit silly that the proper tips were not included.

Left ear went out, can't fix it although I've watched all the tutorials. This was my 1st pair. After a year 1 stopped working, so I bough a red pair. That one stopped working. The black pair my mother had for over 2 years still work properly, she gave me hers. Great sound, doesn't take long to switch over from my car to the headphones, and great color.
