The Galaxy Fold series has had my attention ever since the version 1 was released. The idea of having both a phone and a small tablet in one device sounded perfect to me. I finally took a chance on this phone when I came across a refurbished unit at a good price. Well, I'm glad I didn't pay full price. In fact, after just 2 months, I no longer own the phone. I traded it in and put the credit towards the Galaxy S22 Ultra. I've been a fan of the Galaxy S series ever since I left Apple almost 10 years ago now. So, why didn't I love this phone? Ironically, it was the screen. Or screens, as it may be. The front screen is just too small for everyday use. It's 75% narrower than a regular screen, which made things look compressed and not very easy on the eye. And typing on such a small screen was difficult. And the large screen was even more difficult to type one. And I tried all of the keyboard settings and just didn't find one I liked. And even though you can customize the aspect ratio for most apps, getting them to fill the screen meant a lot of vertical scrolling, and in many cases you can't even view the entire post at once because they're intended to be viewed on a vertical screen, not a square screen. But not all was bad. Viewing websites on the large screen is actually very nice. And I do miss having a large screen for that. But really, that was the only thing I preferred with this phone over a Galaxy S. And in my opinion, that is not enough to justify the hefty price on this bad boy. Oh, and after being used to the cameras on the Galaxy S series, this phone is a downgrade. the cameras are very good, but the Galaxy S cameras are amazing! To sum it all up, I just can't recommend this phone. It saddens me to write that because I was looking forward to owning a Z Fold for a couple of years now. But I love my new Galaxy S22 Ultra! :-)

I bought a Samsung - Geek Squad Certified Refurbished Galaxy Z Fold3 5G 256GB - Phantom Black (Unlocked) and it came locked with T-Mobile. I tried every possible way to unlocked it (going to BestBuy and T-Mobile) and no one helped me. Very dissapointed.
