I'm a nursing student and when I'm in the hospital I forget completely about my phone but sometimes we have clinical group messages and I miss them too. Not anymore, my phone watch let's me know whether the message is HOT or NOT. The Gear-2 app. on my phone also gave me the ability to update my watch face with a second hand (very important in Nursing).

I was going into buying this smartwatch with an open mind. For the price you could not beat it nor the quality. Overall its a great time piece for casual wear or business attire. The features of the watch if you will use them are are OK at best because of the limited app selection through Samsung. The best feature I like is the notification process especially if you are in and environment where you cannot use your phone. The bluetooth connection does not drain your phone battery too much however, I keep sync off and location. The downfalls besides the app limitation are the unrealistic pedometer readings and it cuts in and out when checking messages. I will sometimes have to restart the device in order to get it properly working, maybe the result of being a refurb. The mic is great, camera is kind of pointless but cool to have. Very clear screen and responsive. For 299.99 I would not buy it. For 170 or below its a deal. I just feel for most people the camera will be useless, limited video time, but the mic for talking is great. Charging is tricky especially if you loose the little dock. I feel there could have been a better way to charge even possibly adding the port to the watch. Great idea, newer models will be better, especially with Google Voice and not SVoice. Buy it for a discounted price but not full.

Nice gadget, but the Tizen OS really cripples the device, in my opinion. I downgraded to the original Gear, so that I could "upgrade" the device (read: root it and add a custom ROM) with the Android OS. The Gear 2 does what it says, but I wanted more customization.

This smart watch is a true asset. I wear it daily and I track my sleep. I don't like the inaccuracy of the distance in miles. There is no way 20,000 steps is equivalent to 79 miles. I love the step counter, camera, sleep tracker, and heart rate monitor. I have only played around with using the watch as a phone a few times.

I have enjoyed my new smart watch. The only down side is that the distance (in miles) doesn't seem to be accurate after my run or my daily steps. But besides that I have found several features to be amazing: camera, heart rate monitor, visible screen, and pedometer just to name a few.

The size took some getting use to, but the convenience of getting texts and calls makes it well worth it. I also like the pedometer and customization. It's everything I was looking for and more.

The gear works fine but the issue I'll been having is that cuts the distance of my runs. Probably because is a refurbish one

Bought for my wife she likes, had a couple of scratches but I think it was still worth it instead of paying regular price for a new one.

I normally don't prefer to buy refurbished products. But I did for this watch. I had no problems plus it looked new. Watch is awesome. Not many in the market takes pictures and video. 4gb storage is plenty for my songs and pixs.

I didn't like the color so I returned it but if they had a black version refurbed, I would have kept it.

I am a huge fan of samsung products and have always wanted the galaxy watch to match with my note 3. Bought this for myself as a birthday gift and was very impressed at how new it felt and looked although it had been a geek squad refurbished watch. The gold/brown color is a nice color for girls. Just wish that camera didn't have a loud shutter sound. But aside from that I was very pleased with my purchase

Great for a person who does not want to pay extra a month for a watch that does almost evertthing a gear s does.

This watch has been great. I enjoy answering my phone calls and text messages straight from my phone.

Awesome watch my only regret is the I was informed by the Samsung guy before I bought the watch Geek Squad protection was available to find out after purchase it was not.

The item was a Christmas gift for my husband. He likes it so much he bought another, without a camera, to work in. He's keeping the other as a "dress" watch.

Awesome to be able to have a quick glance at incoming texts and phone calls and decide if it's important enough to take the phone out of the pocket or now. To be used as an accessory only. Phone conversations with the mic work great!

I bought this gift for my son and I must say I was impressed by its functionality. It allowed my son to discreetly answer messages and emails without drawing attention to himself.

I find the watch usefull because I get instant message access without pulling my phone out. Navigation app is cool. So many downloadable watch faces available.

I work in the construction industry and I can never hear my phone ring while I'm in the field and I didn't want to spend $300+ on something that may get destroyed! I haven't had any trouble with my watch and it looks like it's never been used.
