Absolutely in love with this smart watch! Delivery ended up being a day earlier and once received it was a breeze to set up. I am definitely enjoying the different downloadable screens and the notifications for most of my apps from my phone. If I'm away from my phone during work, I can even answer incoming text messages and see my incoming emails. I chose this over the fitbit blaze due to this one being waterproof and connecting via Bluetooth and WiFi and I must say I am definitely happy with my purchase!

I've had the Gear Fit 1 since it came out. I like the overall styling and functionality. The Gear Fit 2 is an improvement on the first. In addition to the steps, distance, and heart rate measuring; the Gear Fit 2 is able to measure and notify you of inactivity, sleep, climbing up floors, and more. Many of the previous features are improved upon. I especially appreciate being able to upload 2GB music onto the Gear Fit 2 from my phone and connect to Bluetooth headphones for use without my phone. Quick response to text AND other messaging apps is useful as well. Still cannot answer calls through the device. Battery life could be better, even with gps, wifi, and auto functions turned off. Make sure your Gear Fit Manager app is updated with the SOS Send Help messaging, and turn it on. It will send a text and current gps location to whomever you designate for 60 minutes. GREAT safety feature!

I love this smartwatch. I've tried several and this is by far the best one. I love that it alerts me when I have notifications, emails, voicemail, phone calls, missed calls, text messages. I am able to read text messages and even send preset responses. I can edit the settings to only receive alerts from the apps that I want. I can see my steps, heart rate, set an activity and start it. It can track my route when I am moving (walking/running). It has a stopwatch and timer. It can start music on my phone. I can adjust the brightness of the screen. I can record water and caffeine intake. The only negatives I've found with this watch are it doesn't register the floors properly (seems to have an issue with the elevation), I wish it could make sound, and I wish I could type messages instead of having to use preset messages. However, I can create whatever preset messages I would like. My favorite feature is locate my phone as I often put it down in the house and forget where I left it. It also displays the calories burned and my calendar and weather. The "faces" can be changed also to match what I'm wearing or my favorite team. This is a great product. My refurbished one works just as well as a new one but for half the price!

The display on this watch is by far the best of many fitness watches I have tried. It is very easy on the eyes. I like the "always on" feature so i do not have to turn arm to see time, although it requires charging each night which is fine with me. I like the different watch faces I can add from app on phone. As a referee I was able to find a good watch face that has timer, stop watch, heart rate, & gps along with date and time. I have not connected to phone to get messages, since not what i wanted in a watch. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 since watch band is just ok.

I am completely satisfied with this watch. It's easy to set up and use. I have lost over 30 pounds with just watching my steps. It helps keep my fitness on track

I did my research before I bought my Gear Fit 2. I am a Samsung person. So when I first started to wear it, the next day there was an update and nothing would work. I tried restarting it, nothing. It seems that when you do an update you need to do a complete factory reset every time! Very time consuming and you have to reset all your watch faces if you don't want the default. In my research , I also read many reviews about the stair climbing function not working. Well that is true! I ran up my stairs 3 times and it didn't count a single one. Come on Samsung! When you have this many people telling you the same thing, either fix it or take it off the watch. Aside from that, it does what I need it to do and I am very pleased with my purchase.

This is my second time purchasing this for watch only because I lost my first one! Love this watch! Syncs quickly, charges quickly, love the find my phone feature. Tracks steps and floors very well, and love the GPS feature. Just make sure to keep a samsung band on it, the others don't lock on your wrist as well.

Does exactly what I need. Allowing me to listen to music w/Bluetooth headset, track my exercise and steps w/out having to carry my phone all of the time. I love it. Wish it had a mic so I could answer calls if necessary but for now I'm happy with what I've got.

I love everything about this fitness watch. It keeps track of my steps, calories and heart rate. It reminds me to get moving if I have been inactive for 50 minutes, especially helpful working at a computer all day. It tells me when I have a phone call or text from my cell phone and has a phone finder button to ring my phone in case I misplaced it. I am a petite female with small wrists weighing 103#s and the watch fits perfectly, not too big at all. Plus it keeps perfect time. I love it.

I got this mainly to replace my fitbit, but it does so much more. My only complaint would be that the battery doesn't last very long and it's inconvenient to charge on the dock.

This is a very nice device at a reasonable price. Standalone GPS work very well. And the capability to download my music on to it and being able to leave my phone a home when I go for a run is great.

5 Star Functionality - Zero Stars Compatibility All of the functionality of this product is completely nullified by the lack of the ability to upload data to the most popular health tracking sites - "Map My ..." Etc. The software available is proprietary and doesn't give much detail at all unless you zoom in on a day by day basis. Last but not least if you try to move from one device to another via Bluetooth, it makes you completely reformat the device. Having bought 4 of these for my family I am really disappointed. the only reason I still use it is because of the heart rate function that keeps me from having to wear a chest strap. I am hoping someone writes a plugin app that will enable these uploads to the major health sites.

Let me see my heart rate and goals. Gets me up and going when Im being lazy for a period of time.

My son loves this watch and we love it. He's a video gamer and couldn't think of a better way to encourage him to exercise. I have the Gear 2 and we compete on who gets the most steps and our watchs actually show who the winner is. Dislike-the band comes off of his wrist easily. He actually lost the watch and a friend found it and returned it. I purchased a milanese magnet band from Amazon which I have on my watch and I love it again.

I had purchased the original Samsung Fit and wore it for years. Finally knew more about it and knew it was a great product, so I purchased this for my mom.

Really great tracker, actually counts step to step, you can see it and the heart rate tracker is great and accurate. The only problem is the clasp is not very secure and falls off unless really tight on the wrist and will then leave a mark in the skin. I only had mine a week and it fell off walking a couple times and I lost it walking at a theme park.

Bought this as a gift and went with a refurbished version bc I wasn't sure how great it would be to spend money on a new one. Once I received it their were two places where the gear fit 2 had been hit and the paint was taken off. But no scratches to the screen which is more important. Since then the person I gave the Gear Fit 2 to has really enjoyed using it and the software has done a great job for working out. If buying refurbished for this product I only recommend taking it back if there are scratches on the screen. Anywhere else you should be fine.

I'm used to a Garmin vivofit. The abilities of this product are almost overwhelming. Still learning how to use it.
