I bought a Samsung Notebook 9 NP-940X5N-X on November 19, 2019, hoping for a decent laptop. A year-and-a-half into ownership, the motherboard needs to be replaced. The laptop cost me $1000 to buy. There's no way I'm paying another $1000. Samsung should not be selling $1000 laptops that will fail in a year-and-a-half, much less make their customers pay another $1000 to fix their faulty machines. I started using my $400, 9-year-old Asus, and it's still doing great.
