I was taken care of quite well They did a very good job on mounting the sound bar to the TV. It is wonderful now to set and hear everything without having to use my age.

Excellent sound quality. Exceptional surround experience. Easy set up. It is a little heavy. Mounting hole locations could be more versatile. Dont match up to 16 or 24 inch centers.

Excellent sound with easy setup. The bar creates a 3D effect with the sound. You can actually feel the sound. It not only creates that movie theater sound it surpasses it.

I really enjoyed this soundbar combined with my Samsung television. It had a great sound. I'm maybe old school but I really found myself missing the sound effects actually coming from behind me and above me. Although this does a great job of replicating this by packing all these speakers into the bar it just wasn't quite the same. Perhaps for a smaller home or apartment where you don't have the space this would be perfect. I ultimately exchanged this for a receiver, soundbar, sub-woofer, front & rear speakers along with additional speakers for the ceiling pointed down (for Dolby Atmos) for about the same amount of money. Again, call me old fashioned but now the sound effects are truly coming from behind me....again, old school - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The sound that comes out this sound bar its just amazing. Its crystal clear and loud, i do wish the bass was a little better.

I bought the N850 as a bundle with the Q8 QLED TV and I'm really impressed with the sound of this soundbar. It really shines when playing true surround movies/shows and sounds even more amazing with Dolby Atmos movies. I have it placed in a really open great room and while some of the Atmos effect is lost by the height of the room, the surround is still awesome. I also paired these with the SWA9000 rear speakers which paired really easily and give the room true surround. Outside of creating a surround setup with component speakers, I'm not sure there's a better sounding way to go!

have been comparing several soundbars. I heard the top of the line Sony and LG soundbar. I still prefer the sound of this Samsung Harman Kardon soundbar, especially with the feature of the side firing speaker on each side, it makes the virtual surround wider. If I have room for the surround speakers, I will go with the n950, it really sounds good for the package. But for us that don't have room for the surround speakers, this works fine, and save several hundred of the n950. The n850 is basically the n950 minus the surround speakers. Unfortunately, Samsung doesn't sell the surround speakers from the n950 separately for an upgrade in the future. Setup is easy, soundbar and subwoofer are paired with no issue. There is an option to pair it manually if by any chance it does not pair up. Just need one HDMI ARC to the TV, and the soundbar can be controlled by the TV remote. It would be nice if there were more HDMI input for other sources. Tried listening to 2 channel music, it sounds good too. It can't be compared with a real high-end speaker setup with a receiver, but for the price, it sounds great. Samsung should have built more sound mode into it, but most of the time, I just use 'Smart mode' and the soundbar will decide if it's better to use the full surround or just stereo mode while watching a show on TV. If the show is surround encoded, the soundbar will activate all speakers. The soundbar can go really loud if need to. my other option is to go with a lower-end model, HW-N650/ZA which is OK for the price or HW-MS750/ZA but will need a separate sub which will bring price the same as the n850, without atmos, though I believe the optional sub is better than the one that comes with n850.

This soundbar is amazing, Amazing realistic theater sound. Compared it to other models in store and this took the crown for sound, price and look.

This is my second Samsung ATMOS sound bar and first since they came out with the Harmon Kardon edition. More speakers, more depth of sound. I bought this for a living room that isn’t layed out well for surround sound. This bar fills the room with sound! I added the optional small rear speakers instead of buying this same bar that comes with larger rear speakers. The optional ones are smaller and fits on our end tables and take up less real estate. Delivers just the right amount of rear sound when needed. Very pleased with this set up. Pricey, but delivers.

Now I returned this bar for the sony st5000. I'm not the best audiophile. But the sound from this bar was fine. Some of the movies I watched when parts that should have been bass didn't really make much bass. Also could hear some crackling during some scenes. I'm kind of jaded with Samsung. I had the k950 but due to connection issues I had to geek squad it for a refund. If you get this on sale then it could be worth it. The side firing speakers are really neat. Now with anything atmos related understand you need a certain size room for an atmos bar to work properly. Also this is Samsung's first harmon and kardon bar. So maybe let them make another iteration before buying.

Incredible sound bar! Honestly going from an LG true 7.1 digital surround sound, I was skeptical of sound bars and their ability to really give the surround sound atmosphere. This bar puts Bose to shame. Super clear sound, really powerful bass, gets loud enough to shake the windows, floors, and walls, without sound distortion. Perfect addition to my Samsung QLED Q9F! (Mine was an "Open Box" item, but in perfect condition so I got it for $670 instead of $1,200. I wouldn't have paid full price for it)

Good Sound quality but the sound bar disconnects from tv very often if tv is in standby. Have unplug the tv, & plight in back to connect the bar.

I like the sound this sound bar puts out. Some issues with the sound cutting out while connected on bluetooth; works fine connected with cable.

Sound: 10 out of 10 Features: 8 out of 10 Subwoofer: 10 out of 10 Quality: 9 out of 10 I enjoy HW-N850 sound bar a lot, but it’s missing some things that keep it from being great. There is not a way for me to Callibrate for my living room. There are only 2 4k HDR hdmi ports. When you use Apple 4k, Xbox One X and Sony 4k blu rayer player you can only have 2 of then at a time. This is why I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Atmos is good but you will have to turn up top speakers.

I went to a larger TV 82" and had a great audio system with Onkyo receiver, Klipsch tower speakers, center speaker and 12" sub, with Polk surrounds, but I wanted to down size and still keep some quality sound, I've had Bose Accustimate SR-1 sounded good but I wanted better, so I went to Best Buy several times and listening to ever Sound bar they had many times, and finally chose the Samsung, sounds pretty good on normal TV, but sounds awesome with a 4k movie!!!

The sound is so great that I do not miss the speakers at the movie theater. Easy instructions.

WOW Dolby Atmos is the way to go!! The sound quality is amazing. Wireless Bluetooth is on point!

Great surround sound that has clear quality and great volume. It was easy for me to set.

My first time owning a sound system and wow! The bass is great, the treble is crisp. The surround sound is everywhere, the Atmos is incredible. My only gripe is the auto-off setting. If I pause something for more than a few minutes, it shuts off and goes to the TV speaker output. Also, sometimes it doesn’t recognize that I’ve turned the Tv on and won’t automatically turn itself on. All and all, I do recommend this.

Very easy to put together. Sound is AMAZING. Movies are so much more fun to watch now
