Highest resolution for the price. Nosepiece needs some modifying so it doesnt hurt. Oh! And dont let your kids use this near any furniture. They may knock out their 2 front teeth

Pros:
- Resolution is nice and crisp
- Almost no set up required (USB and HDMI then done)
- Volume and Lens adjustment build in
- Cool features like you can see things through headset without taking it out
- WMR desktop mode
Cons:
- Getting it comfortable and getting it playable is like a tugowar
- Controllers are a bit clunky, not as cool as rift
- WMR does a weird thing and makes my video card read it as multiple displays (messes up some things on my background, stream setup, did not have this issue with Rift)

So the only reason why I bought these was to play half-life Alyx. But they are easy to set up, the screendoor effect is not there, the tracking is good, but you'll have issues at night. the built-in headphones are nice and loud.it's light-weight kinda, I ran into issues wearing my glasses by which required to be to clamp them down at a funny angle, it does tend to get foggy in them, and there is some light bleed around the nose area.

Personally I'll be blunt and say, I'll return mine because I'm looking for a way better experience (Rift S or Quest with Link). Reason being that I am already being too immersed into VR, purchasing games and everything, BUT hear me out, this headset is amazing.
Why would you buy this? First off, you can get it for 229.99 like i did price matching samsung directly. Apparently this VR headset goes on sale pretty often and it's really good for that price, it's not that much of a hassle using WMR and then SteamVR, it's just a few seconds to set up, but it's really simple. You get a great resolution, even though it's not that clear despite being oled. It's more than good enough, and tracking is great despite being just 2 cameras. For games like Pavlov, i wouldn't recommend due being blurry, but for other minigames, beat saber, it's definitely a great buy.
Another great point is the headphones, sound is amazing in this AKG headphones and they're full of bass and clarity. It's also pretty comfortable, more than the Vive Cosmos if I'm honest.
So if you look into getting into VR but don't want tos pend that much, go for this. I hope Samsung makes another odyssey version that fixes mainly the pixel density in the display, but other than that it is awesome.

So my PC meets the minimum specs for VR and then some (though not by much) ryzen 5 1600X with a 1060 6 GB gigabyte gaming 3 card and 16 GB RAM.
It does games I play ok, with averages, depending on the game, 65-90 fps. Fine for me.. the downside is that it's terribly uncomfortable without any modifications. A strap across the top evens out the bridge of the nose pain/marks some but adds in a mark on the forehead with a good potential for headaches. Still working on that but I understand the face cushion can be replaced with one online that is much softer, according to reviews and is said to help with screen door effect (which I only get when I can manage to get it away from my face a little ATM, but doesn't last long anyways). Most reviews I've seen online all agree it's uncomfortable to a degree but being that people modify it anyways, not terrible. It doesn't stop me for playing hours at a time, mark or not, so that's gotta count for something. Currently playing Half Life: Alyx on low Fidelity and getting 85+ fps average. I use fpsVR in case you're wondering. Also play fallout 4 VR (with mods) among others and I have no complaints about it's performance. Just make sure the area has sufficient light.
Got this during lockdown so I paid almost double on an open box, compared to original price of 250-300.
I will say that extending USB has been impossible to keep the sound on the headset though, I just have static, even with an active extender, but at least the headset is powered now and I can use more of my play space along with a kiwi hanging system from Amazon

I boight this for $250. It's amazing! Screen door effect is very minimal. The clarity is really nice. The tracking is the only downfall. It has only two cameras on the front of the headset, so if you do extend the controllers behind you, they will not be tracked. I was able to play Super Hot, the forest, and beat saber on all difficulties just fine with this headset. If you are looking to get into VR, I reccomend this headset if you can get it for $250 like I did. Otherwise, at full price, you are better off getting the rift S or Qwest.

My first vr headset and I'm more then happy with the odyssey plus. Initially was a little uncomfortable because I wear glasses but after purchasing a new vr cover it's much better. Tracking is decent with enough light and good batteries. Lithium are best I've tried so far. Visuals are amazing.I use it for steam vr and everything has been working great. Its a fantastic first headset without spending $1k. It has made me realize I love VR and plan on investing in a more expensive headset in the next couple of years but for now the odyssey is more then good enough for vr gaming.

Note: only use the headset so i can play 2D games on a "big screen". Only used a controller maybe twice, though it functioned as expected.
The headset works as advertised and coupled with solid software it's fine. At least with SteamVR and MRP, only occasionally a restart is required to get USB back (laptop), though it's been a month since having this issue. If you go this route, use Borderless Window and don't use Wndw Key+Y unless you really need to. :^) And, for non-VR games, reduce quality all the way as the headset has it's own settings and the desktop window is just a third wheel.

This is my first jump into the PC virtual reality scene and I am very impressed! A comfortable headset with really good tracking despite only having two tracking cams. Almost no screen door effect makes the experience very enjoyable as well.

Paired with AMD 580 video card and I have really smooth experience. It was also a great price!! Two Bluetooth controllers connect fast and reliably. The Microsoft MR app could use some more features.

My specific unit was defective and fell apart within months, however this does seem to be a rare manufacturer defect. I did not like the geek squad plan that wasnt fullfilled yet paid for, but the headset wasnt the most comfortable, but had great quality when paired with my 1080ti. Controls were easy and smoothe despite not having any external cameras. Dont play in a dimly lit room though and it does require good lighting.

The headset itself is amazing, The Windows store is horrible but the headset can easily use the steam and viveport store. My main issue is the controller. It makes so many games unplayable. It’s a shame but because of this your better off getting a rift. I would take it back if the rift wasn’t sold out. Gonna give this one to the kids.

Screen quality is a great, very clear picture!! The only thing is for glasses users, you might need to swap out the padding for something thicker so it doesn't get too close to the lens. Also good in the immersive games department, I recommend Space Engine on SteamVR to really understand the depths and quality this VR headset has to offer.

lets get right to it its a very small head band so its gonna be a tight casuses me headaces after 5 mins the lens are nice and big but the fog up every 3 seconds and makes game play horrible and the head phones are to short even for my 8 year old son never mind a adult head so if you have a very small head this might work aslong as you dont mind wiping the lens every 5 seconds

Really like this unit. Easy to setup and use. Wasn't sure about mixed reality, but every single VR app in the STEAM store I was interested in was available. GREAT time playing games and Google Earth VR is incredible.
Totally recommend this unit!
