This a an excellent soundbar with enough sound to hear in a living room that’s big. Mine is 24x16 and it fills the room up just fine. The bass will not be as loud and strong as a separate subwoofer. But this small yet very efficient unit sounds great and is price good. Easy to hook up easy to hide or hang it’s being used on my 85” Samsung tv and works beautifully. Great product.

The soundbar is great the sound is great. If you have a Samsung TV it integrates seamlessly which is such a pleasure. It lacks a little bass, but for 300 bucks you can get the external subwoofer. Overall 4.5 out of 5

I needed a soundbar that fit underneath the TV that I have that is on a stand. This was a perfect fit and the multidirectional sound is great. For a sound bar this is my favorite one I’ve experienced so far.

This soundbar was exactly what I was looking for. It sounds really good by itself, good bass and clarity from such a small soundbar, and it has been such an easy and seamless experience. I've been using it in my apartment with my TV through Q-Symphony and it has good depth and the surround was very impressive considering the size and not using a seperate subwoofer with it. It was super easy to connect and setup with the HDMI cable, and the NFC tap to pair my phone was really quick and convenient. Definitely would recommend, worth the purchase!

In visiting a friend in their new home - they had purchased an 85” Samsung. Being in a spacious area of the house, the built-in speakers did the job. BUT - when you buy an 85”, you want your viewing experience to be a full one, so a soundbar was a necessity. I didn’t want to break the bank, as it was being purchased as a gift. This soundbar, with its compact footprint, delivered on what we were hoping. The Q-Symphony feature is GREAT. I always found it ridiculous that soundbars would not utilize built-in TV speakers. The addition of this soundbar made it sound like the audio was coming from the ENTIRE wall. A sub would make things truly complete IMO, BUT it isn’t completely necessary! This was a smart buy. I docked the unit a star because the remote is meh.

You can connect this sound bar to an older TV. I've had the sound bar for about one month. It's being used on our spare bedroom TV. I have it connected two ways: 1. via Bluetooth, through my fire stick 4k max. 2. via audio optical cable and into to my 15yo UN55B8000 Samsung. I could not get the TV remote, nor the fire stick remote to control the sound bar volume, but I'm still researching how or if I can get it to work. Because I am not connected via USB arc, I do not get any pop up menu's available on my tv (if there are any). The settings, sound mode are controlled by counting the blinking white lights on the front. Not the best but oh well. Sound: My room size is 16' x 18' and the sound quality is GREAT! I judged against the stock tv speakers and with an HW-B650/ZA 3.1 versus TV speakers - 100% better quality in voice, music, action, and bass versus the 3.1 - Not as much bass but lots better on all the other parameters. The different sound modes and tone controls are fun to play with. The woofer volume control is a great feature and I use it because today's music can have an overbearing amount of bass. My 4k fire stick max has the Dolby Atmos feature and boy does it boost the sound. This feature alone makes the unit a winner! I have not utilized the separate channel control option so I cannot comment on it. I have it mounted under the shelf my TV sits on and the brackets are easy to use. Overall opinion - For the price, it's size and weight, and with the size of room I'm using it for, I am very happy with it's performance, I recommend the Samsung HW-S60D 5.0 and give it 5 stars out of 5

It sounds good but I wish it had a screen display so I can see what sound modes I'm in and how it's adjusting. Without a display you're kind of in the dark on if you've got things set correctly but you have to just listen to the audio feedback. I wish it had an EQ feature but I guess that's for the higher end sound bars. I like the style of it and that it doesn't take up too much room. I wish it did a better job with audio leveling. The only thing I could do was turn off amplifier mode and it helped a little bit with leveling up the audio especially when TV commercials come on. But it sounds good.

Love the soundbar and the easy installation. The sound experience is amazing and puts out some decent bass even with its small design.

We’ve had this soundbar for about two weeks now and it’s been great! It was easy to setup and the sound quality is excellent! It pairs great with our Samsung TV which we have connected with Q Symphony feature. Both the TV and Soundbar are actively on and they sound great together! Highly recommend this bar. It’s speak design is great and sound output is excellent!

Great soundbar that pairs perfectly with Samsung TVs I've been using the Samsung HW-S60D for a while now and I'm really impressed. Setup was straightforward — it connected to my Samsung TV without any hassle, and once I enabled Q-Symphony, the difference was immediately noticeable. Q-Symphony is the real highlight here. Having the TV speakers and soundbar work together as one unified system creates a much fuller, more immersive sound than I expected from a single-bar setup. Dialogue is clear, and the 5-channel audio does a great job filling the room. For its compact, all-in-one design, it punches above its weight. If you have a Samsung TV, this is a no-brainer pairing — the integration is seamless and the audio upgrade is well worth it.

Easy to connect and is a big improvement over the TV speakers. Samsung TV, so you can use the bar and the TV speakers at the same time. Much easier to hear voices now.

Smart TV was producing fuzzy/distorted sound. The Samsung Soundbar provided clear/crisp sound. It was easy to install and use. Much more fun now listening to shows on the TV. Nice quick fix to my sound problem!

We have open concept and did not want speakers sitting out in the open. This works perfectly. Great sound.

If you’re not wanting bass but wanting an all around great sound, this is the move, it is loud, just lacking the lows…. I purchased this with the subwoofer, and it’s a great all around system for smaller rooms and or if you just want something smaller

Love the sound bar. It integrated seamlessly with my Samsung S90H OLED. Replaced my LG sound bar. The Samsung has better sound and a broader range of sound

Easy to set up, easy to use. Great sound. We use only the e sound bar no other speakers and are completely happy with the output.

actually following by pricce, it has a good sound but just direct to you. no dimention, and they say i can use Q system which is not different from original. However, sound is better than the TV actually. If you have neibour, this one is a good start.

great sound - no complaints. can't go wrong with this model. Sound is a huge upgrade over built-in TV speakers. No subwoofer, but for me that is not needed. The only negative is - some of the other samsung soundbars are fabric and the speakers are facing the ceiling. This one is hard plastic and the speakers face forward. There is that aesthetic difference in how it looks and may make a difference based on the room size. Either way - the sound is great and can't go wrong with this. Plugged into HDMI port on a non-samsung branded TV and it "just works" without a lot of setup or configuration.
