Once I got a pair it took some time to break em in, I had to change my eq settings on my phone to get em sounding perfect. I like a nice amount of bass, but not too bottom heavy, these delivered. I can hear ALL of the lows, mids & highs very clearly at high volume. For me these are worth it to have great sound AND controls that actually work on the Galaxy devices (answer/play/pause/skip)
