    Excellent Noise Cancellation

Having had a wide variety of headphones (Beats Studio, Sony, Skullcandy, etc) it's very easy to compare these to some of the higher end headsets commercially available and these do not disappoint. Samsung's first foray is a good attempt at a pair of headphones. The first and most obvious thing about these headphones is the noise cancelling. My goodness is it good. With noise canceling on and music playing at even a moderate volume, it drowns out literally everything around. Only an extremely loud noise will pierce through these so expect your relatives to have to shout in order for you to hear. The second thing noticeable about these headphones is the level of comfort - which is truly good. Wearing these headphones for hours will cause very little discomfort, if any at all. The plush leather lasts for quite some time and cleaning is as simple as taking a soft cloth with cleaning solution and giving it a gentle rub. As for the sound quality, this will depend upon what kind of sound quality and bass you enjoy. The sound is crystal clear and isn't overly bassy, so if massive bass is your thing, you may want to look elsewhere. It reproduces true sound much better than a lot of other brands. In addition, there is an app called the Samsung Level app (there are separate apps for phones and tablets) that allow the bass, clarity, and surround to be adjusted with the push of a button. It can be set to automatic for the built-in Samsung music player, which then adjusts the sound of the song according to what it thinks will work best. Some additional features include the ability to swipe your finger up and down the right headphone to turn the volume up and down. Swiping left and right will go to the next or previous track, respectively. This is a handy feature that I've wound up using quite a lot. And last but not least, these headphones can be used with bluetooth or with the 40mm headphone driver inside the handy carry base provided with it. For lossless sound quality, you will definitely want to use the 40mm driver as bluetooth still has the bad habit of muddling the sound. The only gripe that I really have with these headphones is that the mid-range sounds is decent but not great. The treble and bass ends are fantastic, but the mids could be improved. All in all, however, these are a great pair of headphones that I consider to be superior to the Beats Studio Wireless, for which they are designed to compete.

I did some thorough research before my purchase. Definitely needed noise reduction and over ear. Bose 25's were good as expected but corded. Beat Studio couldn't even compare in quality or sound. The Level Over was a great combination of wireless and noise cancellation. No hiss, excellent mid range and enough bass to satisfy. They are a bit bulky and heavier but since buying I have worn for 4 hours straight and absolutely no fatigue. This is Samsung's first go at the high end headphone arena and they have hit a home run!

As a hardcore gamer, I have tried many different headphones. Prior to purchasing these, my primary go-to headphones were the Astro A40s. I own the A50s as well but the frequency range is better on the A40s. After about 3 hours of uninterrupted testing and another 3 hours of heavy use, I can say without a doubt that these headphones are incredible. They are light, they are comfortable, they have great battery life, they have superb frequency response, the Active Noise Cancellation is very effective and is easily enabled/disabled, I even love the look of them. The touchpad design of the controls is just icing on the cake. I originally discovered them being worn by Korean esports players back in March. At that time I could not find any information on them, even from the Samsung Rep at Best Buy. When I discovered that my local Best Buy had received a few pairs, I immediately bought them. I have stayed up all night using them and find myself blown away by the results. I could not recommend them more.

great sound, comfortably large ear covers

summary says it all. The elongated ear cups allow for ears to be covered and not pressed down upon and into ear which in turn pushes on glasses arms as with most headphones. The sound quality is great, although slightly noticeable in sound quality difference when compared to Beats studio wireless, which i believe is the best bluetooth sound quality headphone there is with active noise cancellation (bose still does not have a comparable model with these features). These samsung headphones do not hurt my ears while the Beats do, which is why i switched to these. batt life is great as advertised. quick recharge. Active Noise Cancellation (ACR). Bluetooth pairing made easy. All in all best set of headphones in it's class.

    Great Headphones for Travel

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Quick Summary: Great headphones for travel, especially on airplanes 4x a week as I travel every week for work. Bluetooth + Active Noise Cancellation + Over the Ear all in 1 headset. Best value compared to the only other 2 competitors and its the cheapest. Did I mention the sound quality is there too! Detailed Review and why I wanted all these features: I have been looking for headphones over the past month that offer the features of Bluetooth and Noise Cancellation and preferred over the ear. Upon my search on google I could only find the Parrot Ziks which cost $400 and the Dre Beats Studio Wireless (2014) which cost $379. I tried some of the on-ear Denon ones but returned them a few hours later as they were that terrible. Did some more research on the other 2 out trying to decide which ones to buy, and if I could justify spending $400 on headphones. So I saw Samsung announced these were coming out within 2 weeks on the day I was about to purchase the Dre Beats version. I saw the price tag of $350 and that they were Active instead of Adaptive noise cancelling (which was a complaint in the reviews). Decided to order these from Best Buy the first day I could and picked them up in store as soon as they arrived. I used them 2 days later on my normal Monday morning flights to work. They were amazing. I was able to sit there with them on and no music and relax, and turn on music when I wanted to listen to stuff. With the music on you essentially don't hear anything else. If the music is off you just hear peace and quiet, and can still hear someone talking if the flight attendant was saying something over the PA or the person next to me. Which is normal if you have tried the Bose headphones. The touch buttons on the side are easy to use and get used to, which for me is to quickly pause/play which I use the most. Should also note that the samsung app is nice as well if you want to adjust the EQ. It has preset options for different styles of music, as well as a full manual control. Overall I am glad I bought these and while I feel $350 is a lot for headphones, I will get my moneys worth with all the flights I am on and use they will get. My only complaint about these is the case they come in. Nothing is wrong with it and it is a nice case. Just for traveling, it is pretty big and takes up a lot of room inside my bag. It does have a little handle on it which I am going to get a hook to use so I can attach them to my roller bag easily and not make my bag bulge out and on the planes it can just sit under my seat.

One of the best pair of Bluetooth Headphones

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have owned many headphones from various manufacturers for both professional use as a former DJ and for casual use with my home stereo and phone/tablet. The Samsung Level Over is the best set of bluetooth wireless headphones I have owned and one of the best set of headphones period. Unfortunately, like many other great products Samsung makes, the tech media seems to have hatred for Samsung in general, and the marketing for them is either terrible or non-existent so they don't get the exposure they deserve. Anyway, although the list price is kinda out of whack, (should be $225-$250 range), the unique touch controls and the absolutely brilliant noise reduction mode just add to the great sound reproduction these produce. The one drawback is they are a bit on the heavy/bulky side, and more for studio type/home stereo system use than portable, but they sound great no matter what they are connected to.

I'll start out saying that I am not a professional reviewer. So I apologize in advance if I take you on a rough journey. First things first! Unpacking the Level Overs for the first time was exciting. I love new gadgets! The case that they come in is great for traveling. It will take some beating up and you know that your Levels are just fine. Second, the little zipper pouch with the velcro on it is BRILLIANT. Its of course to hold your charging cable and aux. cable. So before I get to the sound and comfort, I do want to say that I owned the 2013 Studios, Pros, 2014 Studios Wired and Wireless. Not to mention the Bose AE2w Wireless headphones. Based on the week that I have owned the Levels the sound quality is at the top. And the Samsung Level App helps you customize the way you want to hear your music. Also the Active Noise Cancellation is 1,000 times better than the Wireless Studios and I would say even a notch above the Base AE2w. I hands down LOVE the ergonomic design that Samsung has come up with. Talk about comfortable, the first day I wore them for 3 hours and my ears didn't hurt at all. I cannot say the same for the Studios. By the end of my flight from FWI to DFW I wanted to rip the Studios off. Didn't have that same feeling with the Levels. The NFC is a gimmick in my opinion, I still connected them the old fashion way, which still only took a few seconds since they go into pairing mode the first time you turn them on. Now for the touch panel controls. Fluid like water running down the side of a mountain. Easy to use, easy to understand. I will say that turning the volume up/down is sensitive. Besides the overall size being a little larger than some of the competition, what you get is superior.

Purchased this product to replace set of Beats solo 2 (heavy) and Bose quiet comfort (Battery). Honestly much better than any of the two aformentioned product. Sound quality is outstanding, great job blocking unwanted noise. Also liked the fact they are very comfortable. Been using them while taking and online review course, and feel great after 2 hours of course review. If you are using them around dangerous conditions (Roads, High traffic areas) you may consider trying another product. Really happy with the headphones.

I bought these because my ear Beats ear buds keep falling out while I mow lawns. I wanted wireless, noise cancelling, and nice sounding head phones. 4 stars only b/c I thought they would be a bit louder, but being able to swipe to the next/previous song, adjust volume and answer calls with a single finger and not fumbling with the phone is great. They are big but Samsung has yet to put out junk and I feel good about sticking with a winner!

I bought these recently from a Samsung Representative inside of my closest Best Buy I have to say I'm surprised! I know Samsung is a high end name but they are new into headphones so I had my doubt. I have a pair of Bose QC 20's that I have loved and even own a pair of Bose AEW2 Bluetooth Headphones. First thing I have to say is noise cancelation. The representative said his personal opinion of these headphones when it came to this subject was three times better than my current headphones. He was extremely accurate and the quality of sound was definitely there. The demo that was setup was just okay but once I tried them with my music I appreciated them. I do think that for the price they should come with a wall charging unit instead of just the usb connection but still very happy with my purchase and if I was to recommend it on one feature it would be the twenty plus hours of battery life with the noise cancelation on. Impressive!

I love these headphones! Download the app that allows you to control the EQ and these things really sizzle. I wore them on a 3 hour flight and the noise cancelling was very good. Not as good as Bose, but probably better than Beats when it comes to noise cancellation. They're also very comfortable. So if you can pay for these then I highly recommend picking up a pair.
