Plug and Play

Had hoped to use it with my other Samsung devices (smart phone) but it doesn't work for it. One thing I have noticed is that I have to plug it via a USB port to power the unit as well. Was hoping I could skip this part, but oh well... It all still works just fine. For me, I get the power for the device from a USB port right on the side of the TV. The unit of course plugs into the HDMI port.

Handy little adaptor!!

Just hook up a HDMI cable from your TV (not a smart TV) to this little adaptor, then connect this adaptor to your android phone or tablet and wa-la. I was able to get anything I can get on my tablet on my TV!! Great when you don't have a smart TV!! (Make sure you also plug in your phone/tablet power cord or it won't work. There are other less expensive Micro USB to HDMI adaptors, but I have a Samsung Tablet and was told that only Samsung products would be compatable.

Works with Note 3
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this with my Samsung Note 3 as a backup for my ultrabook in the classroom. I run powerpoint off the Note 3 to a projector. It was easy to set up and I have had no problems with it so far.

I ran into some issues with connection but I figured it out. You have to plug in everything in a sequence when using external power. Power, then HDMI then tablet.

Easy & Simple - Get your cell screen on to the TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a great little accessory (even if it is a bit pricey) to get your cell phone screen or Tablet screen (Using a Note 8) onto a TV screen using the HDMI output! Had lots of notes & Pictures for a presentation on my Note 8 and using this Adapter it work easy & simple to get items on the TV! There were not settings or adjustments, it just found screen and put it on the TV. Easy & Simple!! One point... it does need power from your existing phone charger cable.. so you have to have that to power it up and make it work.

Great product

I had my Samsung Note 8 tablet and bought this adapter on sale. Even on sale, this adapter is still a bit expensive, but we were able to watch our weekly GoT, along with movies from our Comcast subscription online. The product worked perfectly. You will also need a normal HDMI cable to connect to a hotel/timeshare TV.

Good interface, but would not charge my tablet

It looks as though this one will only charge smart phone size tablets. Pity!!

Table to projector

It helps deliver quality picture. I cannot give it a five star rating because it takes a couple of tries to get signal to connect and it requires a secondary power source to run, good thing I have an extra samsung charger

Does what it's suppose to

So I looked up HDMI cable for Samsung tablet on BestBuy.com. Did some research about it and saw it was worth purchasing. I'm glad I purchased this item because I don't have a delay anymore.
