    Picture shows up great but would not charge while displaying. I tried a couple different chargers and cables but none would charge consistently. I used a wireless qi charger to keep the phone charged.

    I find this to be an outstanding product which was sold at a good price point. You simply connect your phone to this adapter and the adapter to an HDMI cable on your TV. Viola, your phone's screen is now on your big screen TV. It should be noted that with your phone you do NOT need your power cord connected to the adapter. B U T, if you are connecting your Tablet the power cord is REQUIRED. Without the power cord connected your tablet's image is not sent to the TV. Because this is a wired connection you are unable to use DVR type functions unless your device is right next to you. Wireless connections similar to this are available. Perhaps some research is needed by the consumer prior to purchase.
