    Although the Galaxy phones have the capability of wirelessly connecting to newer smart tv's with either Widi or WiFi direct or NFC capability, the signal when watching hi Def media on your TV may suffer. This handy tool alleviates that by allowing you to have a secure connection to any tv (smart tv or not) while maintaining as much as 1080 resolution.

    I have 34 HD movies in my galaxy s5 and this adapter allows me to play the movies on any TV with an HDMI connection. The movies look as good as if I were playing the actual DVD. I can now watch movies while staying at hotels. The adapter also allows you to charge your phone while watching the movie which is great since your screen remains on.

    I did have some problems with buffering and I wish it came with its own ac plug and hdmi cord. Also i don't understand why it would not work with my tablet even though it fit.
