    Not sure if it was defective but my cord didn't actually work I tried it on a couple different TVS and different Samsung phones (Note 5s) and I just couldn't get it to work.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    I bought this product and it worked well once. I went to use it again and did not go into my phone, but worked with someone else's phone. Couldn't determine the cause of the problem.
