This doesn't work with the new Samsung phones or devices

Was no good. Did not work. Would not recomend purchasing.

I was unable to get the video from my tablet to my tv.

The item didn't work for my my 2 Samsung s2 android phone.

I have a Galaxy S5 and this device works perfectly. Crystal clear picture in full HD. I can't even tell it's streaming from my phone. Picture quality looks like cable. It's a little expensive, but worth the price when you're away from home. I use my "Xfinity To Go" App to watch live TV, shows, and movies. It does not come with an HDMI cable or charger.

It does what is suppose to do. Works with Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S10.5. But it does NOT work with my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, they have different connectors. I mainly bought this to use with my Tab S so I could play my boys movies on the TV and it works perfectly. Oh if this helps, my TV is a 2014 42" Vizio smart TV.

I love this adapter, not only do we watch movies, we also share pictures with family and friends in the luxury of our home TV. The coolest thing is playing games on the Screen when we have guest over. Heads Up and Trivia Crack is one of our Favorite games to play

This is very straightforward. You plug it into the right side of the USB 3.0 port and plug in a standard HDMI cable between the adapter and your TV. If your TV doesn't support supplying power over HDMI, you'll have to plug in a micro USB 2.0 power cable as well. It isn't the cable that came with the GS5 since that's a 3.0 cable. As long as you're on the correct input for the TV, you should see a mirror image of your screen. Also, I tried it out on the GS4 and it worked, too. The Best Buy staff wasn't sure if it would work on the GS5 due to the differences in the USB ports, but it does. The one I had for my GS2 did not.

I really like the adapter its easy to use only down side to it is u have to take your phone out of the otter box to use it other then that its great.

I just bought MHL adapter, connected as per diagram, but getting message on GS 4 phone - PLEASE DISCONNECT ALL AND ANY EXTERNAL DEVICES. Does any one know what it is ?

I live on a boat and cannot get cable. This has been a huge help in allowing me to stream on my phone and be able to watch it on my flat screen tv

I bought this in hopes to get rid of our internet service. Price is too high just for internet. Our household relies only on netflix and hulu for tv. I couldnt get the girlfriend onboard with the idea because she is a casual tv viewer. I dont get it but i guess while watching something its ok to be on the phone. Anyways this displays everything on your phone onto your tv. I bought this right before chromecast came out, which i havent bought. But that has more convenience as it is wireless. But not to be biased. This does what it says its supposed to and i havent had issues with this product.

I tried an aftermarket HDMI adapter and it was junk. I've learned my lesson, and only buy OEM sponsored parts. The Samsung version works perfectly.

Saved me a ton of money using this product with my cell phone to watch Hulu and other movie apps!

Don't leave home with out it. A Must need if screen mirroring isn't an option. So worth the buy

This connector allows me to get more use out of my Samsung tablet when I cannot use my Chromecast

The good thing is it works and looks good. But here are the issues and alternatives... -Netgear's PUSH2TV can do the same thing... but wirelessly! And for 25% less than the cost of this cable! -Phone doesn't ring when connected to cable... call goes straight to voice mail -Phone almost becomes useless while playing videos as it is placed near TV as the cable isn't long enough. -TV remote controls doesn't work very well on playbacks of videos and photos -NFL's GAMEREWIND app doesn't work with this as "screen mirroring" is not acceptable to them. However, if you were to playback this on a laptop and directly connect laptop to the TV with a HDMI cable, it works...

Work for a couple days. Then it stop working. Not the greatest connection.
