Switched to a tab 3-which I was told in a tech spec was non compatible-it worked. Since the tab 3 needed to be plugged in continuously, this works. Somebody needs to get their act together! Didn't work for my S4 either.

Adaptor does not fit the Samsung Tab A

The sales rep claimed this product works for all Samsung products so I took a chance....despite the hefty $60 price tag. I knew I could get it cheaper at an online retailer but I needed it Saturday and they didn't have any other brands in the store. I was disappointed to learn the port on the adaptor is too small and couldn't connect to my Samsung Galaxy Tab A so it didn't work anyway. I can't blame Samsung since they don't advertise the Tab A as a compatible device, I blame the sales rep for recommending it. Plus, when I came to do my review, I was shocked to see that the online price is nearly half the price of what I paid. Wow - what a huge difference!!!! In any event, it's going back to the store... I just hope I kept that receipt.

Garbage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this adapter based on other reviews that it would be compatible with my Samsung Galaxy Note 4. It is not. Do not buy this cable. The signal just briefly came through for a second, then never again. I've tried 3 different Hdmi cables, connected straight to tv, through receiver, and via an MHL input on my Oppo BDP-105D. Nothing worked. Phone kept saying please connect HDMI cable. Worthless
