    Samsung's Little Charger That Could

Samsung's mini Qi wireless charger is easy to use and does an admirable job of wirelessly charging ANY Qi-installed device. It's only "flaw" is that it is the mini version and not the full length charging pad (which supports the entire length/breadth of the phone and so does not cause the phone to tip up when pressing the Home button or typing on the screen). Like the full-size charger, the charging times/rates are not really close to charge times when actually plugged in, but good enough when you think about how easy it is to charge your phone without worrying about getting tangled in cords.

I purchased this item because I was tired of getting into my bed and thenot having to search around for my charger cord on the floor. With this item it's great. You just set your phone on the pad and make sure the light turns green to confirm that it's charging. Wish I would have sent a little extra and bought the fast charging pad. Overall good buy for what I was looking for.

Samsung - Mini Qi Wireless Charging Pad was a life saver as my Wife USB port broke on her Nokia Lumina 920. It brought her dead phone back to life! Very simple to use! You just plug it into the usb wall adapter that it comes with or the usb port on one of many devices that have usb ports these days(PC,TV,PS3,Wii,etc) and put your phone on top of it and it charges! Please make sure your phone has wireless charging before buying. This is the only model they keep in the local stores. It cost more then the non-brand ones but from my experience you pay for what you get and I've there's not been one issue with this model. Also with its small size it fits easy into a purse and even your pants pocket. Saved me 100's of dollars from keeping me from having to buy a new phone.

I like the charger. I saw it in store and saw ads about it, but I never thought I needed it. I have reward points and decided to give it a try. From the moment I used it, I knew I should have bought it earlier. It's convenient to place the phone on top of the charger, rather then plugging it in. The only downside is the it has to be placed perfectly to sync up.

Works fine. I have both a Note5 and my wife has a Galaxy S5 and both charge up (had to buy the piece that goes into the battery cover on the S5 to make it compatible) You do have to get it centered on the charging pad which some people have complained about the phone sliding off easily and will stop charging. I have a body glove case on the Note5 and Lifeproof case on the S5 and they both still charge with the cases on. I ended up returning it because I found the newer round version for $5 cheaper. I'm all about shopping around and BestBuy price matches so I got the round one for $35.

Item is compact, light and worked the first time around for my Samsung S6. Easy to transport, fits well on my bedstand - works exactly as expected. Great value.

Awesome product for travel. Easily fits in ur pocket and works great. Slight drawback is it charges much slower than adaptive fast charger. But allows me to charge phone without opening and closing the port on my case

It's OK, but I prefer that regular charger best. There are times that my phone doesn't charge because if the phone isn't sitting right on the wireless charger then there is no connection. If it's bumped, the connection can be lost. Also doesn't always charge to 100% by morning. I'll plug it in by 11pm and by 6:30am, it's nearly there but still shy a few...usually at 95-97%. For the non-related record, the husband bought this for me.

Great way to charge My Blackberry Z30

I bought this for convenience to just drop my phone on the device and let it charge. It works perfectly. No more pluging and unplugging in the USB to the phone anymore just drop and go. The blackberry z30 works as is out of the box. Our Samsung Galaxy s5 does not work but our Galaxy s6 edge does. Only con is that it is a much slower charge than plugging in and the phone gets slightly hotter.

After having trouble with my charger I read about adapting the S5 to charge wirelessly. I never expected this very tiny item to work so well. Unfortunately, the salesman gave me erroneous information before purchasing. This device cannot be precharged and will not work "on the go" without being plugged in itself. Even so, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I was tempted to buy the newer Samsung charger, but this older model was on sale. My girlfriend decided she wanted the new one, so it gave me the chance to compare. So far, there has been no difference in charging time, quick connectivity, or reliability. The only difference: the new one is round and glows blue when charging. This older model actually works better for me as it easily fits into my pocket or in my briefcase. Save the money and grab this one, unless you need it to have a blue light. Then you need to shell out the extra money.

Easy to work and setup. It seems to charge like wired but with the simplicity of setting my phone down and letting it do its thing. I still don't like that my phone gets warm when its there and that theres no indicator that its done if I'm in blocking mode (greenish yellow light means its working) I still have to look for a family size pad if I want to get my family working with this. So far so good [with one device]

I bought the Samsung Mini Qi Charger to use with both a Samsung Galaxy S4 & a S5 that I have upgraded with Qi Wireless Charging receivers. I tested the S4 with both a Lifeproof Fre and a Body Glove Shock Suit and the S5 in an Otterbox Defender. Both were able to fully recharge with their cases on. You do have to make sure that they are placed so that their Qi receiver modules are placed over the center of the Samsung Wireless Minipad. With the aid of a rubber band I have also been able to use this charger while in our vehicles with the use of a 2.1 watt 12vdc socket adapter. Very handy when using the phones as a GPS unit in the vehicle. As with all wireless chargers fully charging a cell phone wirelessly will take longer than charging with the charger cord plugged into a charger plugged into a wall socket. However, since our phones are 2 1/2 & 1 1/2 years old, I was getting concerned about wearing out both of their charging ports. Overall, I have been very satisfied with this product.

I tried other charging pads for my Galaxy S5, and none worked correctly. They would stop charging or break the connection to the phone during charging, causing the phone to alert, sometimes every 10 seconds. Since I bought this one, I have had no problems at all.

I looked at several different wireless chargers before buying this one. Truth be told, I was ready to buy the full size, circular Samsung Wireless Charger, but they were out of stock at the store, and I'm the instant gratification type. I read reviews saying that with that model, the phone had to sit on the charger in a very particular way or else it wouldn't charge. Not so with this model. As long as the phone is parallel with the sides, it can rest on it in four different directions and charge, no problem. Additionally, using this overnight, it will fully charge and then stop charging, but turn back on again when the phone drops to 99%, so you won't wake up with a partially charged phone. No annoying bright lights on this one, either. I'm very happy with the product, my only wish is that the fast charging cable allowed this wireless charger to work more quickly, too, though I know that is a limitation of the wireless charging technology and not the charger itself. If you're looking for a wireless charging pad, you can't go wrong with this one.

This is a small stylish accessory. I keep it in the office. It connects well to my Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, better in fact than the larger, more expensive Fast Wireless Charger. Charge time is about the same as the standard round Black Sapphire Samsung Wireless Charger.

Everyone hates cords, jumbled up, which one goes to what, etc. In addition, the mini-usb port on ALL phones will wear out, get damaged, become inoperable eventually with standard use of plugging and unplugging. The wireless charging pad eliminates allllll of these issues. Simply place phone on pad, walk away. I would recommend making sure your phone has the wireless charging plate in it though previously, otherwise the charging pad obviously won't do anything for ya. Lastly, charging pads don't put out quite the same juice as conventional plug in chargers so I simply use mine on the nightstand for overnight charging.

Got this for my Note4 so I could just lay my pnone down and it would be charged. I even bought a special case so this could work. However, I found out that the special case I purchased wasn't special enough. The ability to wireleslly charge my phone is built into the phone. But some very small copper built into a case is not in my phone so this does not work with it without a different case costing more money than the wireless charging device. So it goes. Read the fine print.
