I am using a simple setup of about 20 bulbs, 4 smart plugs and 4 sensors. There is a mixture of Phillips Hue lights and Samsung lights. I haven’t had any problems with anything yet. I have some Wiz light bulbs but can not get them all to connect because of my 5Ghz. The SmartThings app is easy enough to install and understand without getting too technical. There are also many YouTube videos which will help you with setup, and compatibility with other components.

This little guy is awesome. Easy to install and get connected to my hub. It even tells me the temp where it is installed.

Converting from Iris to SmartThings. Installation was a breeze and linking with the SmartThings app was quick.

I have this on my front door, with a bit of setting up. Every time the fount door opens my Alexa Say’s “Front Door open.” which is really cool for about a month. Now just a nice security thing for me. It’s also setup so when it closes it send the signal to lock the door, which also nice security setup. Not so much when got a lot of groceries and making several trips, with hands full. I just leave the door open for that now. Side note it also reports temperature.

it is a very good product, it does very good on letting you know when something is open or if there is some vibration. It also can send tempature, if there is a server weather coming to your location. This product comes with a replaceable battery to make it easy to change.

I'm always second guessing whether I put the garage door down. I won't admit how many times I've turned around the car to go check. Now I know if it's closed simply by checking on my phone that the sensor is closed... also have one on the freezer door which is handy as it doesn't always stay closed if ice is building up. Totally cool little gizmos

Well, so far so good. I am using this to monitor the Main Garage Door so that I know when the door is opened or closed. You may wonder why, but it's good to know if the garage door is accidentally left open and this sensor reminds you to close the door. I have this paired with the Samsung Home Hub and works very well and it was an easy installation.

These work very well and are so easy to use and setup. Cant go wrong with these to monitor doors.

I used to use the Iris Smarthome system, but had to change since they are shutting down. After deciding to go with Smartthings I grabbed a few of these to replace some old door sensors. These worked great. Connected quickly and were ready to stick up. They also read temperature and vibration. I ended up getting another one to use in a dresser drawer. I told Smartthings to alert me when it vibrates when the drawer opens.

This sensor was very easy to install and it works as promised! Will buy more for my entire house!

Bought this for my front door. I tells me the temperature of outside, since it's between my front door and storm door. Tells my if my door opens and it picks up vibrations, tells me if someone knocked on my door. Well built very sensitive. I live near a military base and when they do bombing practice my house shakes and gives me a false reports, not at fault of the sensor.

These sensors are a breeze to set-up and install. Connection to SmartThings hub was easy.

I've got this hooked up to SmartThings of course, but also have a notification through IFTTT to notify me of the freezer I threw this inside of raises past a certain temperature because the GCFI circuit pops from time to time when the power goes out. This helps me know that it has popped and I need to reset it before my frozen food thaws.

I purchase 4 for these multipurpose sensors to accompaniment my home security system which presently has installed three of the 1st Gen sensors. Being able to receive alerts on your device when doors or windows are open or trigger lights to turn when configured to do so in the app is a good approach to a Basic home security system which doesn’t require a subscription fee. Having a temperature monitor is an added extra. I have read online that the battery life has been improved with the 2nd Gen, so now I have to wait to see.

Very reliable sensor for indoors. I can't think of any better & affordable sensors better than this one.

I have been protecting/automating my home with the SmartThings system for over a year now and it very reliable. I save money on utilities expenses and sleep sounder at night knowing I have some level of protection. It works well with a large number of ancillary devices such as security cameras and thermostats.

I haven't had this product even 2 weeks and the battery is already at 89%. I am not surely if that is because I have an automation set up but the battery's drains fast. Other than that it works very well! I love how you don't have to have the sensors touching, they're can be about an inch and a half apart if you have doors with a cutout or something.

They have the temperature. They make me aware if a window is open when it may rain (it hasn't rained yet to see if it works). I no longer have to worry about of I left a window open. They also work with the plugs to turn devices on and off with specific conditions.

These sensors work very well. Before purchasing, I was concerned that they would only work sometime. But the worry proved to be unfounded. They work all the time and the vibration detection is great! I have these sensors as part of several home automations around the house using SmartThings and Google Assistant.
