Love the ability to track temperatures at the openings in the house. The vibration notification is nice and relatively accurate. Can also use it to notify you if you are leaving the house with a door/window opened.

The multipurpose sensor works as described. Just use your Smartthings app and it is good to go. I have it set to turn on a light for me and send me an alert every time a particular door is open.

I was not sure how well this would work on my interior door. My wood casing around the door made it difficult to tell if this would do the trick, but it works fantastic. I probably have about a half inch gap between the bottom half and the top half, but the magnet inside the smaller half is strong enough that the main brain can pick it up. It keeps a history of how often my door has been opened, the temperature in the room, and, if activated, it can act like an alarm and send me a text if the door is opened when I am not there. Im very happy with this device.

I’ve had SmartThings running in my house for over 2 years. The motion and the door sensors work great when they are working, but I have to reconnect 2-3 times a year. And I’ve had to replace the battery in about a year and a half.

These aren't required to be as close together in order to show the door or window as being closed. This comes in handy when you have doors with thresholds or molding that don't allow the sensors to be in direct contact.

These work wonderfully. The sensors halves don't have to meet that closely so they work great on my sliding glass doors as well as my casement windows. Very easy to set up.

Yes, this can work as an alarm trigger... however, I can also be set to turn on lights at the front door, or office... and turn them off say if you close the office door... very useful product.

a small sensor that easily connected to my SmartThings hub v2. I installed it as my temp sensor for upstairs. the delay wasn't noticeable, i thought it's going to be long lagging time, but it wasn't.

Using it on garage door to get alerted when door is opened; to alert me outside normal hours if some interference causes the door to open.

This replaced another brand of door sensor that had trouble maintaining a connection to our hub. It's a good distance away from the hub. But this one seems to stay connected just fine.

Attached one of these to a window to use as an open/close and temperature sensor. Works, great. Able to automate a smart plug to turn a fan on/off when the room gets hot.

This was so simple to setup and works like a charm. I synced very fast with the app and stays in place very well. There is a slightly longer delay to show that a door or window is open in the app, but its still pretty fast. I plan to get more.

Had to replace an old system that was no longer supported. Many of the old sensors worked with Smart Things but a few did not. Got these and they all work well. Setup was a breeze.

There is not much bad to say at all about this sensor. Much better than 1st iteration by far. Easy to set up as well. Battery has been lasting much longer. No disconnects either. Love it.

I’m impressed by this little gadget that not only monitors door status, it also monitors temperature and vibration. Pretty nifty. I’m getting two more of those for sure.

These work great with the Samsung SmartThings. I have one as a door sensor (this one) and another I use for the garage door. Both work great and are consistent
