Great Soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this sound bar. The bass is nice and punchy but not over the top, the mids and highs come through really well too, very balanced. The Atmos you can actually hear in compatible media and devices. The rear speakers, like always, need to be turned up all the way to hear anything. The speakers themselves seem to be build very solid and feel like a good weight, while they're not heavy, they are quite hefty and you can tell the build quality is nice. I got an open-box "excellent" condition and it was NOT in excellent condition. It has several dings in the metal mesh on the top/rear corner, the sub has a little damage to the rear, and the rear wireless receiver was smudged/scratched quite a bit. Though none of this effects the sound quality or function, just be aware their grading is way off the mark. Overall I love this sound bar. It's easy to use and set up, the menus are very easy to get through, and once you set it up the way you want it sounds amazing all the time.

Blah blah blah
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading everone reviews, I was eager to get this sound bar. Were these people paid or what??? My 150.00 klipsch sound bar is better then this one. The subwoffer is a joke, half the size of my klipsch. Do yourself a favor and check them out! They run good sales as well.

Delicious Sounnd
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound system for a small to medium room, pretty easy to setup, although the manual is very simple, so I must google to setup the rear speakers (no big deal) In matter of sound, I now that there are so much better surround sound systems (audiophile grade), but this one is really excellent in price/value, the movies sound great and have a deep field and immersive feeling, bass is well balanced, initially I tough that the satellite speakers (rear) couldn't be enough to be perceptible, but I get surprise how well they work. Another great features: eARC: Allows bidirectional communication between the TV and the bar thru HDMI, don't need any extra cables, HDMI have bigger bandwidth than optical (SPIDF) = more details and crispier sound. WIFI: For listen music is a key difference vs bluetooth, even with codecs like LDAC and aptX, so you can stream from Spotify, Tidal or of another service that supports Chromecast with better details Dolby Atmos: Most of the streaming services like Netflix, Amazon, etc. Support it for surround sound in movies and series, but also is compatible with a lot of songs from Tidal or Amazon Movies (surround sound in songs is something great!!!) I'm really happy with this bar.

Good sound for medium space but only semi wireless
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Samsung Q series 5.1.2ch wireless soundbar is a good addition to any medium sized space, with a semi-wireless design and slim profile providing flexibility in placement. In the box is the soundbar, rear satellite speakers with wiring and wireless hub, subwoofer, HDMI cable, remote with batteries, and rubber feet or use the included mounting hardware based on physical setup preferences. Setup is literally plug and play, plug in the sub to power, plug in the soundbar to TV / audio out and power, plug in the wireless hub to power, and use the speaker wire to connect both satellite speakers into the hub. Note you want to give the speaker and hub connections a gentle pull to make sure the wires are well seated. I spent the first hour with the rear speaker crackling due to not having the connector wire fully seated. Connection options are the included HDMI cable or optical (not included) as well as wi-fi and Bluetooth, allowing you to stream directly from your phone or computer or setup with a voice assistant. For this review, I am running optical in, with a Samsung TV, which also supports Q Symphony. Q Symphony allows combined sound from both the soundbar and the TV to enhance sound depth. There is a companion Samsung app as well as the SmartThings app which works with Samsung and other popular electronics manufacturers. The soundbar seamlessly integrated with my husband's Samsung android phone, however for my Google android, I did have to go through the pairing process. As far as sound, the 5.1.2ch outputs a max 440 watts, which sounds almost perfect in my ~400 sq ft bedroom. The downside is that the furniture is against the wall, and due to having wires from the satellites into the wireless hub, I cannot offset the satellites far enough away for the perfect surround sound effects from where I sit. For any room where you can move the satellites a few feet behind you, this should be the optimal placement for a well balanced surround, note that you do have a wire from each satellite to the hub to contend with. There are multiple sound profile settings - adaptive, game mode, surround, and normal, each with noticeable differences in output. The surround is good enough that even subtle sounds are picked up, and the standard mode is as expected with speaking coming through as clear, not overpowered by background noise, or over driven to compensate. My only real hang up is the satellite speakers and associated wiring. This is one of those areas where size does matter, and while each satellite is compact, about the size of a tissue box (see photo), I would have preferred just a bit more output from the satellites. Even with these limitations, I still found the surround to be adequate for the space. While the sub won't rattle the furniture, it still gives a nice balanced sound that provides listening immersion. The center channel and the subwoofer do a good job, and give a solid range and depth to both movies and music. Overall this is a good soundbar for a medium space, providing you have the flexibility for the rear satellite wiring setup. I recommend it for movies and music in a space with tolerance for a few wires, and plenty of power outlets for each piece.

Elevate Your Anime Experience: Samsung Q Series 5
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Integrating the Samsung Q Series 5.1.2ch Wireless Dolby Atmos Soundbar into my home setup has been a game-changer for anime enthusiasts. This sound system not only complements the captivating visuals of anime but adds a new dimension to the entire viewing journey. With its sleek Titan Black design, the soundbar seamlessly fits into my entertainment space. Despite my Hisense TV not being a Samsung, the wireless connectivity ensures a trouble-free setup, allowing me to dive straight into the world of anime without any complications. The Dolby Atmos technology embedded in this soundbar brings anime to life in ways I hadn't imagined. From the intense battles to the emotional dialogues, every sound is delivered with exceptional clarity, immersing me in the rich and dynamic audio landscape of anime. What's truly impressive is the soundbar's ability to capture the subtleties of anime soundtracks. Whether it's the triumphant music during epic moments or the nuances in character voices, the Samsung Q Series ensures that each element is reproduced with precision, enhancing the overall viewing experience. Even without the Q Symphony technology designed for Samsung QLED TVs, the soundbar enhances the auditory journey of anime, adding an extra layer of excitement to every episode. In conclusion, the Samsung Q Series 5.1.2ch Soundbar is a valuable addition for anime fans, providing an audio experience that complements the medium's visual brilliance. Not bad 5.1.2
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im happy with it. Better then the standard tv speakers and its a space saver vs the receiver. Only thing is i should’ve went all out and got one with more speakers. Next time Definitely will buy another one but the higher end model. I recommend this soundbar as a starter truly makes you feel like your in the movies plus QSymphony not sure why the hate, i love it. More speakers and audio is clear. Super easy set up, plug and play. Not fully wire free since you do have to power the soundbar and devices up with somesort of electric, unfortunately electricity is not Wi-Fi or for true wireless experience, Also to save outlets the rear speakers are wired to a box and its bluetooth to the soundbar that box is plugged in to the wall. Overall its 3 wires that go to the outlet.

Good quality
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for sevral reasons. First was to upgrade my sound system. I found this as an open box iteam. It was a store display it turns out. The quality of sound is still good but the pairing features are still lacks. Arc does not give the best sound, nor does the Q-symphony, or optical.... The best sound actual comes from the Bluetooth.... Weird.... I have this paired with a Samsung TV so I figured plug and play. For the most part yes it was... I have had to go into settings every time I turn the TV and bar on to activate arch, it doesn't always come on. Now some positive points. The multifunction bluetooth is great. I am loosing my hearing, so I use bone conduction head sets. I can connect my head sets and the bar to the TV via multifunction bluetooth, which means I am not blasting out my partners ears... You are unable to adjust audio lag to sink up the sound, so you get a bit of feed back if your using open ear headsets, I feel this should fall on the sound bars programming to adjust for that. I am not disappointed in this product, but do feel it can be improved greatly for a better user friendly experience.

An actually worthwhile soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to get one warning out of the way with these that many people missed. The rear speakers are not individually wireless. There is a wireless receiver that can sit where you want and runs a speaker cable to each. Higher end Samsung soundbars have the wireless built in (though you still have the power cable). I know that's caught a lot of people off-guard, but it also allowed me to purchase these open-box, and WOW! have they felt like a steal. I paired this with a Samsung OLED (the S95C). They work in tandem and sound absolutely fantastic. I also own the top end Q990 paired with an older Samsung. The 990s sound ever so slightly better and are more expansive that this. However considering I bought these open box, and the Q990s were 4X the price I paid, I'm not one bit disappointed. This soundbar is great by itself, but if it's paired with a good Samsung tv, there is a noticeable difference in overall sound quality, ESPECIALLY in the out-of-the-box experience. These systems (990 included and frankly even simpler) set up so fast and sound so good out of the box that I will be hard-pressed to consider a full home-theater system ever again. The surround stage was surprisingly good on these (and utterly amazing on the 990s). Look, I'm that guy that spends hours setting up his home receiver, and weeks tweaking it after that, and a home theater can sound better. However, I pulled this out of the box, set them up in less than 10 minutes, and I've never felt the need to adjust the EQ (and only once on my 990s). I have been very satisfied with both of the soundbars.

Overall happy, but
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, we like the new speaker system. It was easy to put together. Size is reasonable for our room and TV. As others have pointed out the small satellite speakers are wired, not wireless. Pairing was pretty simple for it and even our iPhones. I would recommend it overall, just be aware that it isn't as user friendly as expected. Sound is pretty good overall, but we are still getting use to setting it the way we want it (See next notes). I'm old school and frankly prefer older, larger loudspeakers on my old receiver. I almost bought the modern version of a home entertainment receiver to just use my existing speakers. My wife and younger family members preferred this option. So, I guess we get the best of both worlds when needed. I do like the smaller footprint and more modern look of this system. Set up was more challenging than expected. The included instructions are pretty sparse. I was expecting the set up related menus to show on the TV screen since it is connected via the HDMI ARC cable. So far, I don't think that is an option. That is my biggest complaint. Due to the size of our room and positioning our furniture, we didn't initially see that the setup programming is only visible with the little LED abbreviated messages. Given the price, this is a huge disappointment. Maybe I need to dig deeper on-line for, but I wish we could control the volume from our Xfinity remote. Alternatively, there are button features on the Samsung TV remote that aren't on the soundbar remote. Having to use 2-3 remotes is a pain.

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I paired this soundbar with my new Samsung tv and so far I’m loving it. At first I had some issues pairing the surround speakers but once I finally got them paired it was great. Very immersive. More so than my old system. I wish the subwoofer was a little louder but it’s cool that it’s wireless and can be moved anywhere you want.
