I am blown away. I had fairly high expectations for this sound bar, but had no idea it would be this good. I had purchased the S95B, a couple of months ago, and its incredible, it has the Q Sympathy feature available, and i had an older Samsung sound bar with out that feature. So I decided to upgrade the sound bar, the Q Sympathy feature is amazing, just finished watching Apolo 13 4k, the surrond sound was awesome. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Buy this. Its fantastic.

Better than my sonos arc! Soundstage is perfect, bass is on point, and rears get pretty loud once adjusted in the smart things app. I love it!

Using the SmartThings app to adjust the volume of your rears is just one thing you can change. You can adjust the bass levels, the channel levels, and even adjust the 7-band EQ easily from your smart device.

For under a grand! I got a deal! The sound in my basement theatre room amazing! Only drawback is i am sharing a little more often with my girlfriend and her impromptu concerts. Jlo Miley Ortega and Tay Tay ...for her friends. Why did you buy it if you dont want to thump it!?! I digress. So its awesome with movies and pretty good with music. Disney+ and Youtube 4k concerts with 130 inch screen...unbelievable!!!

I bought this to go with a Samsung top of the line TV that is also new. But it keeps reverting back to the TV speaker or changes input sources randomly. It was installed by the Geek Squad and therefore I assume correctly. But it’s frustrating to have to reset it so often. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting but it still goes rogue every couple of days. I have considered returning it but when it’s connected (via HDMI cable TV e-Arc, it sounds great. Get your firmware fixed, Samsung.

Thank you for purchasing the HW-Q930C Soundbar. I understand your frustrations, please know that we are here and happy to help you.
There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot your Soundbar.
You can download the firmware directly from Samsung’s website by clicking “Support” in the top right corner. Then go to “Manuals & Software” > “TVs & Home Theater” > “Home Theater” > “Sound Bars”. From there, you can select the HW-Q930C under Q Series.
Download the update and install it via USB thumb stick to your soundbar. If you need additional help, there are how-to instructions on this page. Please know that Samsung Customer Service is here to assist as well.
Please verify that you are running the latest firmware on your TV. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
Next, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
If this still does not correct your issue, then do a hard reset. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - Volume buttons on the body of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset.

I upgraded from a Vizio 5.1.2 soundbar — a great value bar that served me well for many years — and the difference was simply night and day. This thing has got some serious presence and e-ARC is absolutely a game changer. Pretty much plug and play. I used to have connectivity issues with the Vizio, which only supported regular ARC, that just aren't a factor here. Great stuff!
