I’ve been using the Samsung HW-Q930F for a while now, and it’s honestly one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my setup. I’m really into tech and good audio, and this system delivers on both. The sound is powerful but still super clear—dialogue is easy to hear, and the bass hits without being overwhelming. What really impressed me is the surround sound. With the rear speakers and Dolby Atmos, it actually feels like the sound is coming from all around you, not just the front. Watching movies and even playing games feels way more immersive now. Setup was straightforward, and it worked seamlessly with my TV. Overall, I’m very happy with it—it completely changed how I experience entertainment at home.

I recently upgraded to the Samsung HW-Q930F, and while it’s not a bad soundbar, I honestly feel like the previous model (like the Q930C/Q930D) delivered a better overall experience. On paper, the Q930F has all the right features — 9.1.4 channels, Dolby Atmos, rear speakers, and a redesigned subwoofer () — but in real-world use, it feels like a step sideways rather than a true upgrade. The biggest issue for me is the sound tuning. Compared to the prior model, the audio feels less balanced. Dialogue isn’t as clear, and the overall soundstage doesn’t feel as full or immersive. The new, smaller subwoofer looks nicer, but it doesn’t hit with the same depth or punch as before. I’ve also noticed some inconsistency depending on the content — sometimes the sound feels thin or compressed, which takes away from the premium experience you’d expect at this price point. To be fair, it still performs well for movies and has plenty of volume and surround effects. But if you’re coming from an earlier Q930 model, don’t expect a major upgrade — and in some ways, it may actually feel like a downgrade. Overall, it’s a decent system, but I expected more. If you already own the previous version, I’d recommend sticking with it.

Great sounding soundbar and subwoofer combo. The top firing speakers truly provide sound in 3 dimensions, filling the entire 16 x 15 room. Can't say that the rear speakers are of much value as not much content and in some cases not any content is sent to them. I cannot say enough about this soundbar and subwoofer, the sound is "clean, with no muddiness " and can get very loud without distortion. After a few weeks of owning this soundbar, I am down to making minor tweaks to the system, such as gain to the subwoofer and up-firing and side-firing speakers. You won't be sorry getting this setup.

I dont have alot of experience with soundbars but I am impressed with the sound and the easy use due to being so compatible with my samsung tv. I bought and returned the flex core 200 because of constant handshake issue. The dolby atmos is impressive and the upmixing is pretty good for non atmos content. The app is straightforward making it easy to configure the settings. Lip syncing seems to be a non issue for most content but on the pc dolby atmos sound had some issues and required some work to address. To be fair I read that is an issue that affects other soundbars as well. Im giving it a 4 because I still have consistent hand shake issues which only once required me to reset the tv, usually turing it on and off fixed it. If your a causal you can go cheaper and be happy but I do see the quality l.

Great sound and super easy setup. Voices come in clearly and I placed the additional speakers behind our viewing couch and it really immerses you in the movies/shows/games.

Great sound! Was a little harder to pair all of the speakers. Instructions could be simplified. I had two speakers that did not automatically pair. Read all instructions again and found a step that was easily missed. At this price point Samsung could make a more user friendly instruction sheet

Love the soundbar sounds great with Bluetooth rear speakers. You can Bluetooth music from your phone to it you can sync it up with your TV sound with q symphony feature and the new powered subwoofer sounds great. It syncs up with your Samsung TV seamlessly.

Easy to install, total game changer for tv viewing. I can't believe I went all these years without a sound bar, sub woofer and rear speakers. It has totally changed our viewing habits and our family room went from a sports viewing room (ie. for ME) to an all inclusive movie, series, sports and all other shows viewing room. And its powerful enough to play and enjoy all of our music selections while occupying other rooms. This Samsung bundle offering is FANTASTIC!

The Q930F 9.1.4 soundbar really completes our Q90F 65" 4K OLED. When paired with the Q90F and enabling the Q Symphony feature it's like being in a mini-theater. There are times when we are watching an ATMOS movie that the whole family will jump when we hear something coming from one of the rear speakers behind us. This really adds to the viewing experience. The Q Symphony feature also provides the clearest vocal audio from the front of the room regardless of all the other sounds that are coming in for the movie/tv show. I've had full home theater sound systems costing thousands of dollars with 7 speakers around the room and this soundbar blows that system away. Very happy with this purchase.

Amazing surround sound even without the back speackers! You used to have to have 6 to 8 speakers around the room to get close to the sound that comes from this little bar! You dont even need the back speakers and most everything is wireless. We went in to buy a Bose sound bar but we were blown away with the immersiveness of this system. I recommend buying the set up. Best Buy set it up and told us options we wouldn't have thought of.

Outstanding sound quality. Very intuitive in where you place the speakers. I have changed the location of the speakers and the sound adapts to the new location.

Replaced the failed Klipsch soundbar with this and like it much better. Sound is great, especially from the Bluetooth surrounds and subwoofer. No issues so far with Bluetooth connectivity that my previous soundbar had. I had to be careful to use the HDMI cable that came with it. I used another I had and sound cutout. Just make sure you use the provided cable.

The wires that the rear speakers come with are short. It covers the height of the speaker and slightly more, so plugpoints have to be close. Also need to be careful when looking for speaker stand online as not all stands for. Other than that, I have no complaints. Very easy to set up and use. Some features work only with Samsung TVs

I saw the item listed as an open box item in excellent condition and that’s what brought me in only to find out that there were some scuff marks and no remote. I guess I still bought it because they did reduce it to fair condition and priced accordingly, but I don’t think I would’ve come in if it was already listed as fair condition.

This sound bar system is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I first heard dolby atmos in a movie theatre and thought it was great wanted to have something close to that at home and wow this item delivered. Really gives you that immersive experience especially if you mount the rear speakers. A must have for a 100" TV!
