It's a solid stereo system and demonstrates that wireless tech has reached a point where it can substitute for wires in sound.

Sound bar sounds great. Truly wireless rear speakers. Only complaint I have is not being able to disable the “Smart assistant”

I have had this soundbar for a month, and I absolutely love it. I previously had the Klipsch Cinema 1200, and it doesn't even come close to the performance and features of the Samsung HW-Q99OF. It's user-friendly because you can control sound settings by using the SmartThings app. It has a surround sound setup by controlling the sound equalizers on the soundbar and the surround sound speakers. You can also do the software updates on the app. You can choose from the app how the sound is distributed. The soundbar itself, the speakers themselves, or both. Your sound options are unlimited. If you are willing to spend the money, I would recommend this product.

I bought this to upgrade my sound for a large new years eve party I was having and let's just say the topic of the night was how amazing the music sounded especially given how I was able to place the speakers in different places around my home so every area no one had a problem hearing what was playing. Magnificent purchase.

Easy setup, great surround sound. Feels like your in a movie theater.

I have only had my speaker set since August 1, 2025, just a little less than a month, but these speakers have changed my life! The sound is amazing. I have always enjoyed a theater experience as far as sound goes, but lacked the ability to really hear the voices together with the experience. Now I can!! I can't review anything about shipping because I picked up my speakers from Best Buy. The speakers were easy to set up. Highly recommend!

The Samsung Q-Series HW-Q990F sounds excellent, especially considering it’s a soundbar system. I tested it in a very large room of around 360 square feet, and it still delivered immersive, room-filling sound with no problem. It creates a much bigger soundstage than I expected from a soundbar, and with a good Dolby Atmos movie, you can clearly feel the Atmos effects, which makes the experience much more cinematic. The main downside for me was the HDMI input compatibility. I connected a Fire TV Stick to it, and it would frequently stop working, forcing me to restart both the TV and the Fire TV Stick. After a lot of troubleshooting, I found that the issue was caused by the Fire TV setting “Match Original Frame Rate.” Whenever that setting was enabled, the problem came back. Once I turned it off, things became stable again. Overall, the sound quality is outstanding, but the HDMI input issue was definitely frustrating.

when placed right these speakers sounds great . the sound bar is a monster its almost wide as a 65 inch tv and the rear speakers are just as big the price is worth it

Picked up as part of the black friday deal. Best money sepnt on a surround sound system. Paired it to my QN85B. Not only good for surround sound music quality suprised me with deep bass and nice trebble and mid tones. Excellent for watching movies and listening to music.

This Samsung soundbar is incredible! It makes movies feel like you're in a theater!! The bass is deep and powerful, voices are super clear, and music sounds amazing. It's easy to love and totally worth it!

Great addition to our new t.v. Music and movie sounds are crisp and clear. Love everything about our sound system as volumn doesn't have to be turned up to load to be able to hear especially from both rear wireless speakers.

This is, without a doubt, the best sound system I've had to date. The surround sound is amazing (and I've had many systems before), it truly gives you a more realistic effect. The bass is deep, Side note, my dog thinks the sound is so real she sometimes runs around the house checking for what she just heard. This is a bit expensive yes, but SOOOOO worth the money.

The sound is amazing the quality of sound is clear and crisp. Sounds like I’m at a theater. Sound bar is big but looks amazing on display the options to connect by Bluetooth hdmi or optical connection is convenient. Best in the business.

This system is totally life shifting to luxury of all family entertainment We we don't need to go movie theater or cinemas anymore.

I like the sound of this bar paired with my Samsung tv. I have an Apple TV and Nvidia shield pro plugged into it. The Shield with it’s codecs really shines with this sound bar.
