My soundbar did not have wifi capability to work with my Samsung tv's "MultiRoom" Sound function. So I was unable to sync sound with my Samsung soundbar HW-K550. The sound quality was pretty good, not Bose quality though. You can only send sound to these speakers using a Samsung app, not directly from i.e pandora app etc.

I'm using this connected to my new SUHD Samsung TV as Surround and also for Multiroom Music.

You can connect theo5ugh the app and use pandora (as well as other music apps) or listen to the music thats on your phone. I love it.

I bought two of them and will be buying the next size up for another room. The sound is crisp and clear and works well for the television as well as audio books and music. Highly recommend.

We have had it over a month and still can get it to work for the TV sound. I will not buy any thing else from this best buy. It would be nice if they would come out and install it for us FREE of charge. You would think after paying over $ 200.00 that someone would help you getting it to work. NOT

The app is a little slow but works fine. As a surround speaker over WiFi they are a pain. Audio video sync can be iffy at times. Sonos is more for a reason. Get them for standalone MultiRoom audio. Don’t get them for add on surround to the Samsung soundbars.

Most loose detail and the low end (or are impractically large). The R1 can be played fairly loud as well without getting muddy and distorted. I only gave it 4 stars due to the notchy, wide, volume steps. I miss analog volume control.
