This TV was great at first, but 5 months later the board went bad. The tech they sent out was a sub-contractor. Who basically broke a couple clips and said oh that won't hurt anything. Told me it was a good thing that this happen under warranty or it would be pretty expensive to have him fix it. Well 1 day after my warranty expired the TV died. I called Samsung about this and they said that it would be at my cost to fix it, but could not tell me a estimate price. Still waiting on them to call me on this...If it's the same tech he said it was 2 hours for him to drive here and would cost around 100 bucks to get him down here and 40 bucks an hour to fix or replace the part. IF he can't fix or replace the part that means I will be spending about the price of a new TV. I will not be buying this name brand again!

TV was pretty decent while it worked. Images were pretty good except when a lot of rapid movement on screen - then got pixelly. I expect a TV to last more than 17 months, though. Turned it off one night, went to turn it on the next morning, and it was completely dead. Samsung customer service was useless. As soon as they realize it's out of warranty, they will do nothing to help. They recommend an extended warranty. Well, if your product requires the customer to get an extended warranty "just in case something happens", just beyond warranty coverage, then you can pretty well just say your product is junk. I will not buy Samsung again.

There is an entire community dedicated to the sorry sound quality of Samsung televisions. We were patient for over a year, and without a suitable response from Samsung, we felt it was time to share it with the world. If you buy one of these TV's, I hope you are deaf and prefer close captioning! If so, you'll love it.

The moment we plug this t.v. we were entered into a wonderful realm of what the future experience of entertainment was all about. The speakers are to small for this amazing technology of television, I suggest you buy speakers to add the richness of quality of sound you will experience.
