  • vcr but has no tuner

    I bought this to replace a vcr that is going bad. Being able to play and record dvds was a bonus. Silly me, I never even thought to check that there was a tuner in the vcr. Who has ever even seen a vcr with no tuner so that it can't record broadcast or cable tv directly? At this point, I'm not sure if I will return it or try to make it work using it to playback only. It was a big disappointment. I thought it was a good price because it was refurbished, not because it was missing a function 99% of the vcrs on the planet have.
