It works as described and as it should. It hooks up to the internet via LAN, not WiFi.

No issues with this player. However, with 4K movies now out, ready for an upgrade.

I was skeptical considering the price, but couldn't be more pleased. The unit is simple to set up, boots up quickly, and is easy to use. It doesn't have Wi-Fi, but I knew that when I bought it. That wasn't a problem for me since I have an ethernet connection nearby. Netflix works great with no buffering issues whatsoever. The only minor complaint is that Netflix menu navigation has a slight lag to it and shows/movies take a few seconds longer to buffer than my PlayStation 3. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Completely Satisfied with this Blu-Ray Player!

Just purchased one of these refurbished Samsung blu-ray players from Bestbuy and I couldn't be more satisfied! It was easy to setup, after plugging it in (via HDMI# and turning it on, I then did a software update #took about 4 minutes to download and install). Then the unit rebooted and works perfectly! I've played a couple of different blu-rays in it to test it out, picture quality and sound are amazing! I also tested Pandora-works great!

After spending too much for a Samsung Blue Ray for my 50 inch Insignia in the living room (extra features that did not work or I did not need) I purchased this reconditioned unit to save money as I only needed it to play DVDS on the 39 inch Insignia in the bedroom. It was unresponsive and would not display menu (could not get updates) or reset to default after following directions.. I will return it tomorrow and look for another brand. Three years ago I purchased a refurbished Toshiba 1080 DVD Player/Recorder from Best Buy and it is still working great, but this time I was not so lucky. I have had excellent products from Sony, LG, Toshiba, Insignia and even Phillips, so purchasing the only brand I do not like because it was cheap is my fault. I have wasted time but I have learned from this experience.
