I bought one of these units from Best Buy, and can confirm that the unit DOES come with a remote. I have no idea what this guy is talking about. Not only did mine come with a remote, but it looks like a brand new remote. The unit itself had a couple of blemishes on it (not noticeable, really) - but works perfectly. I am exceptionally difficult to please, so trust me when I tell you that this unit met my expectations.

I have so many Samsung products that just keep on performing. I needed an inexpensive option for internet connectivity for my bedroom TV. This player does the job. Playback of DVDs is excellent.

2 days now trying to get a internet connection. Nothing.Won't sence the ping.Tried wireless and it didn't work even when I had the wireless motem next to the unit. So I tried a wired hook up. Nothing. It's like it doesn't have a built in anything in it. Samsung was no help. Looking at reviews I get the feeling this is a problem for a lot of people. Sorry that I bought a Samsung Blu Ray to match my Samsung big screen.Live and learn. Guess I'll go back to my laplop for my internet streaming.

Like so many of the others here, this player has been problematic from the start and I regret not returning it. I too, have other Samsung products that I would recommend. This thing just stammers and stalls, certain Blu-Ray discs don't play or stop in the middle for no reason. DVD's mostly play fine. The set up was just ok but remote much slower than old DVD players I have had. The WiFi feature is great for Pandora and Netflix before they messed up their service.

I really like being able to view my photos from cds on the 55 inch wide screen. I'd like to buy another just like it for my daughter. Any ideas?

I don't own this one, but liked the BestBuy price on the new one, and thought to check the Outlet store to see if they had a deal on a refurb of it. At the moment, the new one is on sale for less than the refurb, which does not make much sense to me, but hey, I don't own my own store...

Can not tell it is not new. Got this to go along with my HT-C6500. Same system so it is easy to use. Only one problem which was same as the HT-C6500, initial set up screen was in Korean or Chinese. I has already called for the HT-C6500 so I knew how to reset. Manual was photocopied, but I don't care. Eveerything else was there. Blu Ray takes a long time to load.

Plugged it in. No problems. Works great. Excellent playback and resolution. That's my kind of player.
