I have worked with a wide variety of projectors in the military and I bought this one for my upstairs loft in my home. It is a refurbished model that I took a gamble on and I have to say that it compares with some models that cost 3 times what I paid for it. I am continuously impress with the Samsung corporation and their products, tehcnology, and concepts. From cellphones to my TOC LED flatscreen, to home theater surround sound, and now onto this HD projector... I am thoroughly impressed. You will have no problem connecting this to your equipment either, and the remote and menu are simple to navigate. Keep up the good work Samsung. If I wasn't awe struck I wouldn't take the time to rate your product. Thanks, from rainy Tacoma WA
I would recommend this to a friend

Refurbished... ...poorly

The major issue was obvious right away as I set up the projector to throw a small test image on a wall about 6 feet away. Immediately I could see that the image throw was off on the right side. The projector was level, the left, top and bottom were all perfectly horizontal and vertical, but the throw on the right had about a 3 degree slant from bottom to top. Nothing could fix this. Perhaps this was an error made in the refurbishing process or perhaps it's an inherent flaw in the projector design.
Image quality: Grainy
Color quality: Okay but lacks significant menu control adjustments
Lumens: Decent in ambient light, but brightness serves to show grainy picture quality.
I did not use the remote for this because I had it mounted on a table. The button design on the top of the projector is terrible, too difficult to see/use.
