I live in SF and I got help from a pal to carry this home. We had 2 motorcycles and we had to drive side by side with the TV in front. We had to connect it to both batteries to get enough power while we were driving. That kind of sucked, the guy at best buy assured us it would only take 1 battery. This is just unacceptable for the price. Because of that I'm removing 1 star.

The box for the Samsung S9 was covered in fine Corinthian leather and I became agitated when I was forced to take a large, Tanto style sword to the box to turn loose the viewing pleasure inside, only to see the fine leather ripped to shreds on the floor. I think I can use it to make an entire sofa. Once I had the very large TV mounted to the wall, I could see it had gold inlays and fine veneers - a true work of art. When I turned it on, I heard a loud rumble emanate from within, the epicenter clearly was self-identifying. The lights dimmed, not from the surge in current, but I think from a brown out caused by the nuclear reactor scramble as common NRC protocol when an earthquake is detected by the on-site seismometers. But I digress... Now that Cthulu had been awoken, I could sit down and enjoy a binge session of the entire 15 seasons of Murder She Wrote. The upscaling of any image presented to 4k UHD quality showed the true mastery of the programmers. Angela Lansbury was a goddess projected into my eyes thanks to the superb video capabilities of the S9. The smart features, like Netflix, Hulu Plus and YouTube we brilliantly placed on the intuitive user interface. The integration with other Samsung smart devices was flawlessly executed by the manufacturer as all my Samsung devices begin to work as a hive. I was somewhat startled when I began to lose control of the TV itself. It stopped playback of my Murder She Wrote DVD, midway through season 8. It searched for a movie across all applications, only to find Battle Beyond the Stars on Netflix - George Peppard in all his glory - and I was forced to watch it from beginning to end. Somehow, I think I am being assimilated by Samsung, but for only $40k, I think it is well worth it!!!

This TVs picture is amazing! Its pretty affordable too! All I had to do to get this tv was refinance my house and sell my car. I didnt want to wait for it to be delivered so i took it home that night. I stuffed it into my toyota prius and was on my way.

I mounted this bad boy on the back of my pick-up truck to share with others as I drive. At 40k it cost about the same as my new truck so I said what the heck. With the satellite dish mounted on the roof of the truck it works great. Just working on external speaker mounts on the tailgate so the sound can really pop as it gets really cold having the windows open all the time so others can hear.

What can I say, but "WOW"! At first I was upset with myself for making a deal with the crossroads demon, and when I panicked, all I asked for was a Television. But boy did that lil' horned dude come through in a BIG way! Not only is this thing HUGE, but I get to enjoy it for a full three years before something comes to claim my soul. That's a Win-Win in my book. Oh, and did I mention that the video game Pong looks AMAZING on this thing? The local access channels look spectacular as well. You gotta get this TV! I do, however, recommend trying a different financing method.

I got this tv to raffle off to support the homeless. Raised well over the goal of $2000. Set this up outside the grocery where we had the raffle and you can imagine the crowds that gathered. Thanks Samsung for a homerun. DW4 for Heisman.

Had $20 in Best Buy rewards so I figured I'd buy this. Only giving it 4 stars because it wasn't compatible with my VHS player. The local sports team looks great though!

Well at 39 years old and after plenty of personal saving, I was faced with the unenviable decision to either finally move out of my mom's or purchase this TV. Needless to say, I won't be facing a dreadful mortgage payment anytime soon!

This is the best TV I have bought. I literally watch Polar Express and thought I was going to get hit by a train. It's weird that it's cost more then my house

Bought this TV and now i live in the box it came in and steal power to run the tV. ITS AWESOME!

We couldn't believe our eyes when they announced this deal. We needed a small TV for the guest bathroom. It must be great; our house guest has been in there for days. It made the Thanksgiving weekend with family so much easier.

Picture is awesome, makes the graphics on my Nintendo 64 pop.

Salesman said that my Vic 20 would pop off the screen with the Start Trek cartridge. With the size of the screen it takes longer to get across the galaxy. I ended up putting it in the attic where the kids are. You would think at this price it would of included rabbit ears , I ended up making some with tin foil. I think the kids prefer watching SD shows as I think HD is overrated.

I use mine as a computer monitor and now I'm finally able to play Minesweeper @4K on a 85" screen. The only thing I slightly dissapointed about is that its 120hz instead of 240hz but I'm sure they'll make a newer model that is 240hz in 3-4 months.

I bought one of these for each of my five kids rooms, the basement, my bedroom, the living room, the Lanai, the pool house, the maids room, one for each bathroom and the guest house. The picture quality is insane. I play Xbox One on it and you feel like you are in the game.

Can't be those Black Friday deals on this tv. Just got $150.00 off this bad boy. So worth the price. Can't wait to watch those GSN shows tonight......OHHHHH plus there is a $25 dollar rebate....SCORE!

I thought I was buying OLED. Can someone help? Can I watch Nick at Night on this display with nice picture? I only watch SD and picture not so nice. I like the 1970s shows with nice picture. Is this display OLED or Plasma? I am very confused for my money. I am trying to connect my VHS recorder to the HDMI tv input and it does not work. I think they could improve here but besides these minor issues I am enjoying very much. Thank-you.

This TV is awesome to say the least. I bought 2 of them, one for the living room and 1 for my bedroom. I am thinking of getting one for the game room as well.
