The cam is easy to setup and broadcasts clear image even in low light situations. The two-way microphone works well but could use a bit more volume.

We keep an eye on the kids with the camera and it works very well. Still need to get an external speaker for it. You can talk but even at the highest level the kids will be screaming over your voice.
I really like how it has night vision so even if someone breaks in at night you can see the footage pretty well.
It’s very cool how in addition to it saving to a microSD that I bought separately it sends still shots to my google pictures.
We like seeing the video real time or recorded videos on our phones. I highly recommend this as an indoor camera.

Super sharp image at daylight but night vision is blurry. Setup only takes minutes and SmartCam app is very easy to use. Wide angle covers the entire room. There is a tiny delay but it doesn't bother us. There is an option to add a microSD card. Overall, a great camera which meets our expectation.

Very good wireless indoor security camera. Hard wired power source eliminates the possibility of batteries running low if you are away for extended periods of time. Work seamlessly with motion and door detectors to record when activated. Some limited connection issues with my IPhone from time to time

Great HD picture. Easy to use software and set up. No monthly costs like DropCam. You can set up to work with BlueIris, just Google for help with set up.

I had two of these already for monitoring home and garage, bought a third and it would lockup when I tried 720P. I went to Best buy and got another. Must have been a bad unit. No issues with the replacement. I use the Samsung Smart view app via web which works great. Invested in Smart things Hub and sensors work great. Cell phone app is the only way to monitor via Smart things, but It works fine although picture is not as clear as Smart View App. Invested in Osram lights and smart light switches (single unit). Finally home security that works!

PROS::
Easy camera set up
Good quality camera, good image quality
Records sounds.
Record footage few second prior to motion or sound triggered the recording.
2 way communication
Portable and easily relocated
Detect sound and / or motion.
Live view is great.
CONS:
No zone control within frame. Will pick up any motion and start recording and notification.
Cannot set up specific time range to record, so its recording and notifying you constantly. Not suitable to place in your normal activity area.
Indoor use only. Not weather sealed.
Unit is top heavy.
BEST USE:
AS nanny cam.
Monitor "should be empty area" or non heavy traffic area if you plug in all the time. For example -your garage.
Great to use when away from home to monitor your house or office. Not great when you are there moving around cause you record yourself and constantly getting notifications.
Definately a good gadget if you find a suitable application, or in addition to your normal wired security camera system.

Bought as a gift and my friend loves it! He showed me his house on his cell phone and the picture quality and sound were great. Fits the bill for everything he wanted and was really easy to install and configure in just a few minutes.

Picture quality is amazing. Great night vision but cannot use looking out a window at night.
Biggest complaint is trying to review recorded video. So many times it says it cannot communicate with camera. Purchased via a price match. Decent for price but glad I didn't pay full price.

This is my second one of these cameras. I love the video quality, however the cell phone app on both android and iOS needs some work. I am also having problems with the web interface. Sometimes you can't sign on at all or it simply drops the feed after an hour or so and it won't work the rest of the day. Sometimes you can't sign on at all.

Bought first camera two years ago and after shopping around and reading reviews decided to get the same one for my kitchen. Good quality picture and easy to use. Very convenient to have both cameras the same and be able to monitor different areas from the same app. One negative is that sometimes it takes long to connect but that has to do more with internet connection and wifi providers.

I've owned this for a few weeks and it works well. The motion detection is very fine. I wish the lightest setting would not pick up my cat walking around the house but it's better to work too good than not good enough. Picture quality is good and setup was easy.

The camera does all the things I wanted it to do.
Monitors an area of my house and sends report (most of time) when motion detected. Had to buy wifi outlet to prevent it from monitoring when someone home. Like that it sends pic to my google account. Only problem is that remote access can be intermittent and sometimes phone can't find camera. Good home monitor but not security system.

I'll preface by saying I'm a Samsung Fan Boy. I originally had the Nest camera but it's lack of integration with SmartThings led me to return for this camera. The camera is clean looking, quality is great, app is good but I feel it lacks in the motion and noise notifications, the Nest camera is superior in that space. Overall, the camera will suit most if not all your needs and if I had it before the Nest I would probably be giving it 5 stars but I feel it's a step below the Nest but definitely does the job. In the end, another quality product by Samsung.

I now have 2 of these cameras and they are superb. The picture quality is much better than the 720p foscam ones I've got and they are definitely much more reliable requiring very few resets and restarts. The delay is also very minimal I'd say between 2-3sec and the audio quality both back and forth is very clear. Only thing I can't figure out is how to use the web interface from a PC to use the voice feature. Highly recommended since there is no monthly subscription and has a SD slot for loop recording and access through the app.

As mentioned in other reviews I had to do the wired set-up. Tried doing it wireless but ended up talking to the support line and they told me to do it wired. The app worked well; we used it over WiFi rather than a phone data plan so in some places the connection didn't seem to be up to the task of handling video. While the video quality was good the audio was less so.
