Pick a few of these up for the family and they work great with the smartthings hub. I have a few routines that i use these for including smart monitoring. Recommend using as a back up for smartphone geo fencing.

The Samsung Arrival Sensors work great and setup was quick and easy. We currently use them to adjust our thermostat when away. Only complaint is these require a 2032 replacement every couple months or so.

Simple and easy to program. I have not had any problems since I got it and I’ve not yet had to replaced the battery.

The device works as expected, but it goes through batteries like crazy. We're thinking that this could be due to the cold weather, and we're hoping that battery use drops off when temps get warmer.

Small size has a cost -- unit works as advertised just drains the battery Helpful hint the App has a feature you can "page" the sensor -- doing so will draw a good amount of juice

Expect to change batteries about every 3 months. The sensor works best with a full battery. When the battery gets low expect delays in sensing home/away.

This is a must have for the smart home with kids. I got one for my daughter. I know when she comes and goes and use it to unlock my door. Battery life is so so.

This device works as intended, but it does take the hub 2-3 minutes before it acknowledges a fob is away. This may not work well if you're using your away status to do time sensitive things such as closing a garage.

I have a couple of these. They have worked great for the most part. Batteries run out every month or two, but overall I would recommend this device.

This thing is cool to automate things based on the arrival. Chose this over the phone presence as sometimes the phone might be turned off due to low power.

I first tried using my phone as an arrival sensor, which I didn't even know I could do until SmartThings asked me if I wanted to do it during the set up. I quickly found that the phone option didn't work well. Sometimes I could be inside the house before it detected the phone. With this arrival sensor, it picks me up at the road in front of my long driveway, so everything I have it programmed to do happens before I even get all the way into my drive. Works Great!

I was getting frustrated because I had a routine set up in smart things that when my phone left the area, it would lock the door, and when my phone arrived, it would unlock the door. It worked erratically at best. Got this arrival sensor and reset the automations where when I leave it locks the door and when I come back it unlocks the door and it works flawlessly every time! Love it!

Great sensor to have. Responds quickly. Battery that comes with device doesn’t last long. Other than that very satisfied.

I bought this sensor to trigger several routines when detected. Works great but the first battery only lasted a few months.

These sensors work good, but they seem to use batteries pretty fast...would also be nice if they were a little smaller and water proof.

Does exactly what it is supposed. Paired to my SmartThings Hub with ease, lets me know when my kids have made it home from school.

I have 3 of these arrival sensors. Initially they worked very well. Currently they are intermittent. The they will disconnect and reconnect at least once per day with them sitting on a table doing nothing. When they work they are great.

i use this on my key ring to let my system know it's me who is coming into my house and no a stranger.. i love and wish they would add more stuff to the line.

The sensor is perfect for my "guest" key ring. I am now aware of comings and goings -- without the need to phone . . .

Doesn't have much functionality. Easy to set up but no real use. Currently use it as location detector for my computer bag.
