This is a useful add-on for the Smart Hub, it can be used in a variety of"recipes". I do wish the battery lasted longer.

This arrival sensor worked great for its purpose. Took a little figuring to set it up. Other than that it works great.

... the battery life. horrible. If i wanted to be picky, i'd bash the uild quality a little. wold like to see waterproof.

Bought this with the hopes of overcoming the limitations of my wife's iPhone 6s for arrival sensing on Smartthings. If she hasnt kept her phone awake (or at least tapped the home button before driving into the neighborhood), the system doesn't register her as home and does not open the garage door until she's waiting outside the door. I have no such problem with my GS7, and hoped that the keyfob arrival sensor would be a good compromise. It turns out to be even worse. Even using a zigbee repeater in a window on the front of the house, the range is too limited. I imagine it could be useful for kids arriving home from school. That's about it.

Easy to setup and works out of the box. No more than 15 minutes to set up.

Works as described. notifies arrival, but the battery does drain a little more then I would like.

Most of the smartthings devices are great, but these have a few issues. The battery life is poor on them. They run down pretty quick. New ones actually had about 1/3 battery left in them too. Second, they aren't picked up by the hub when you get home all the time. Even with fresh batteries, one quit working after a month with the hub. Just avoid these.

Paired up immediately and easily incorporated into program to change mode to home and deactivate security.

This sensor does its job but after 2 months the battery died and in between it kep losing connection to my smart hub.

This is great for when you do not want to have the location turned on on your phone. The only problem is that it does not always work, it probably works 8/10 times, which isn't too bad, but it is still annoying when it does not work. Otherwise it is a great product.

Much cheaper when they go on sale easy to set up. A good start on a home security system

Good product. The battery consumption is a little high but works fine

Works great with the SmartThings hub. Toss is in the glove box and forget about it.

Does what it's supposed to do but the battery doesn't last very long

This is used along side the smart hub that allows you to track anything that comes in and out of your house

This device might work for other people but it did not work very good for us. Also the battery life goes very quick.

Great to run it through Alexa and to have the lights come on when we get home.

Perfect for turning everything in my house off, adjusting my thermostat and locking my doors when I leave.
