The motion sensor is good and reliable. Just need to find the correct spot to install to avoid false alarms

Easy setup, good to go. Note that SmartThings like this can only be set up via smartphone, not your PC/Mac... works great, used it to check on our "housesetter" while we were away for two weeks

This is a great add on. It integrates seamlessly and easily. Set up is quick.

As long as you are in range of the hub which isn't far, then this is a good sensor for smartthings.

These motion sensors are very sensitive in a well lit room. When it's dark they are less responsive.

It paired easily and does what I need it to do - in my case, turn on the bathroom Lights when it senses motion, and turn them off when the room goes several minutes without motion.

Nice little motion Sensor, however, seems like after 10 feet or so it no longer detects motion. Waving your hand doesn't do a whole lot but it will notice when you move your entire body's position in the room. I like the temperature capability as well. Word of wisdom if you install in a cold place like a garage the battery will drain like 30% overnight.

I'm currently using mine outside and have a few issues with connectivity,but inside it works great.

Got this to turn on lighting when I go to sleep and have to get up during the night or trigger a notification while away. Works for both applications. Easy to set up and link

hasn't let me down yet. Solid motion sensor. Just keep an eye on the battery. After about a year, it start tripping. Just replace the battery and all will be great again.

It was a good edition to my smartthings home. I use it to turn lights on automatically.

I'm a huge fan of smartthings, and this motion sensor is awesome. I have 2 I'm my house (right now). Easy to set up, and config to what you want it to do when it picks up on motion!

This works but the SmartThings platform devices seem to go out of sync or lose battery quickly.

They updated the motion sensor from a couple of years ago and these barely pick me up when I walk by, or the delay is extreme!! I've tried disabling them and resetting the hub but it doesn't make a difference. It doesn't pick up the dog anymore which is good but it is very delayed now when switching on my lights. 1 st world problems lol

So i installed this and had it setup to turn on my stair lights at certain hours of the day. it works great but every so often the sensor I guess gets confused because the light will just stay on pass the schedule time. my kids actually were scared thinking someone was in the house. Great technology but needs some more time in the oven I'd say. make sure you set it up correctly and read the forums in smart things.

The motion sensor has a decent range and notices movement pretty easily. I havent mastered smart things to get a camera to start recording but should be able to.

I love this motion sensor. I no longer worry when I'm away from home. I know my sensor will notify me when there's any motion or drastic change in temperature. Awesome device !

It is affordable The batteries last for the better part of a year It works

It is a good addition to the smart things lineup but it can be a bit sensitive at times

This is actually a cool sensor, it's a motion sensor and a temprature sensor and if you know how to use Stringify and IFTTT you can use this sensor a variety of things.
