This product just works. I bought some off brand ones from another retailer and had issues getting ti to connect to my smartthings hub. Returned them and got these ans and it was as simple as just turning it on. Definitly a great buy.

I had such high hopes for this sensor. Since I have the ST hub, this sensor is theoretically the best one to use for quick and reliable commands. But that is not the case. I also have the hue motion sensors. Although they work like a charm, they only work with hue lights and are horribly basic in the ways of customization. The ST sensor however, allows for program creations beyond your wildest imaginations. There is just one catch, the darn thing never stays on. I have to constantly pull the battery and reset it back to the system. I have the Google wifi throughout my house (3 hubs strategically placed) transmitting about 900mbits of wireless AC in every nook and cranny. So I know it is not my wifi. I also have my ST hub smack dab in the middle of my one story home plugged directly into my google wifi hub. But I still lose connection every few days. My suggestion: go with something else!

This sensor is nice and sensitive! This is exactly what I wanted for motion activated lights in my garage. It's mounted on the ceiling in the garage and has a nice wide view and can see me walk into the garage right away.

This sensor works very well and the battery life has been surprisingly good so far. I have had it For 5 months and the battery still shows 90%. I only wish they would make an outdoor rated version.

All the Smart Things items work as advertised. The documentation isn't good. There's no user's manual, just scattered "articles" that miss the details that a user's manual should cover. Otherwise, a good product.

this is the second one that I purchased, the tin tab that makes contact with the (-) edge of the battery was either already broken or broke just from installing the battery. The construction of the product lacks, otherwise it's a great product and works well.

I did use Go Control motion sensors in several places and they work ok. Samsung Motion sensor response time is better that anything else I tested. Fully enclosed so no little insects can call it home.

For some reason the model F-CEN-IRM-2 doesn't sense motion as the model F-CEN-IRM-1 in terms of distance

Highly recommend this product, as it can trigger lights to come on, and go off when movement, or still. I have one to trigger an alarm at night. Great little product, not bad to look at either.
