This motion sensor advertises a fee meters of sensing with a 120° field of view and it lives up to it, I was having problems placing it cause it was so sensitive. I set it up to turn on lights when it detects motion and turn it off when motion is no longer detected, and it works like a charm. I would definitely recommend this product but the only two downsides are price and the smartthings software which doesn't let you specify to turn lights off if no new motion is detected for a few seconds. Otherwise I'd say buy enough to fill your house!

This is a great add on for the SmartThings hub for a room or a stairway that needs light without having to worry about flipping the switch.

This device couldn't be easier to set up. The base unit found this device automatically and I was ready to go in a few minutes. Highly recommend

Compared to other cheaper brands, these things seem to work best for me.

I am using this in the garage to turn on the lights when we enter. It is working very well and I am very happy with this product.

This motion sensor certainly does the job of detecting motion with timing of motion as well. It also gives the temperature at the location. Bought to check on home when away and got the added bonus of temp. Does a great job.

install this in my closet since I already own a Smartthings Hub, works great, nothing is wrong with it so far. I also mount on near the front porch to sense motion to turn on lights late at night.

This sensor synced quickly and was easily found by the hub.

got so that it would help turn lights on if anyone comes in he house while we were out of town. I was also able to get emails when it got motion. Great news, no one broke in and I knew the plants were watered on time by our friend.

Works good but unable to set sensitivity so it does not pick up my small dog but overall it is a decent motion sensor

These are fully functional. These are the latest version and have reduced range and cone of detection as compared to the previous version present in the home monitoring kit, these have about 12 feet range of motion detection as compared to about 18 feet for the previous version. Alright for light on based on motion but not that suitable for covering whole rooms for security.

Easiest way to expand your smart things system, buy other smart things components. Does what it is supposed to do!

The device is really great. You walk into any room and the motion triggers you smartthing hub action. Mine turns lights on and off when motion is seen. Really nice first thing in AM on my way to coffee pot!!!

Gives a wide range of detection. As with some of the other smartthings they sometimes lose connection.

SmartThings is the best system I have found to work with the most devices. They are continually working on adding or partnering with other vendors to add more products to work with system not just Samsung.

Works perfectly with samsung smartthings. had a couple of issues with interference until i moved my hub then it works just fine. i have multiple of those around the house and they work as intended

At First did not like the sensor. It seemed very unreliable but after hard wiring my house for my cable and Internet services they have jumped 10 fold in reliability and triggering my lights to come on.

Seems to work well. The stop motion is pretty much instantaneous. I have a z wave motion sensor that take about 4 minutes to reset. Pairing was pretty painless with smart things hub (no surprise).

Great sensor, easy to install, batteries last long.
