I factory reset it multiple times. Deleted and reinstalled the app. Rebooted phone and access points. Deleted my Home from SmartThings web service and added it back. My Wifi is excellent--I can even see the device joining the network and obtaining an IP address but then it thinks it cannot reach the internet. Presumably this is a case of decent hardware but garbage software/garbage firmware. I have 20+ years experience working in computer networking and would call my skill level high and confidence in my home wifi also high. We have dozens of wifi devices with zero issues. The SmartThings app keeps blaming the router or wifi, which is plainly false. Some people have said they needed to use a different device--as in iPhone wouldn't work so use a galaxy tablet instead. I don't have any android devices lying around and also this isn't really an acceptable answer--many people have iPhones. Bottom line--I am going back to HomeAssistant but disappointed I couldn't try SmartThings. I suppose $50 for the Station is supiciously cheap, and in this case you get even less than what you pay for. :( The wireless charging works great, btw. So there's that. Great price and great delivery time from BestBuy.

Seems to be an issue that is widely known. Samsung Customer service was very difficult to reach. Once reached, they could not solve the issue

NO MORE Z-WAVE ?

Much to my surprise and dismay I found the SmartThings hub that I purchased doesn't support Z-Wave any longer. I have a large number of Z-Wave devices and I will not replace them Thankfully I was able to return it, thank you.
