This kit gives the peace of mind I've been looking for. Living in an older house with older plumbing and fixtures, I've been looking for a way to make sure I protect my basement. This integrated with my SmartThings system well and gives me the info I need.

I bought this sensor on sale. Since I already have a SmartThings hub, it was simple to add. So far it seems to do its job, and I don't want to see when it does (as that will mean I have a flood somewhere in my house). I trust it to warn me if something does happen.

A couple of times in my old house the sinks leaked. Because small leaks are often unnoticed for a while the water can do a lot of damage with dry rot. This inexpensive gadget should help warn me in case of a leak from a spot that may be unnoticed.

I have a utility room with a boiler and a hot water tank. This little sensor is a great addition. It also provides the temperature in the room. Will send a notification if it gets wet or if the temp falls below a preset level.

Make sure to buy a Samsung Smart hub I use these everywhere Gets the job done and alerts other devices on the smart things World if there is a leak .. they make no sound however just trigger over devices and send notifications

What can I say? Pull the battery tab, add it in the SmartThings app, and put it where you're worried about leaks. I tried it out by pouring a bit of water around it, and was immediately notified by the SmartThings app.

Neighbor living above me has his AC system drain to the outside through my line. The line plugged up-but his system keeps working through gravity and kept running draining into my unit. Alarm went off immediately on my phone. Last time I was on a ship working and the water damage from the unit above cost me $40k in repairs. Would recommend for any absentee owner with the way condo water and black mold insurance is written in Florida. For less than $1k you can cover your house with a whole system and cameras.

I had this installed for about a week, and my phone dings to let me know water was coming in the garage. Exactly what I needed it to do, and it worked flawlessly, and saved all of the inventory stored in the garage. Works!

This version of the water leak sensor seems to be more battery efficient. Bought it to replace another one which seems to drain the battery very fast. This one seems to hold the battery better.

Bought this sensor to alert me if my sump pump stops working and my basement begins to flood. Seems to be working so far and haven't had any issues. Seamlessly connected to SmartThings hub.

I had a leak in my basement before I had this leak sensor installed. Now that I have this installed I have piece of mind to be alerted and remediate the leak issue instantly.

I tested this in my bathroom and it was awesome. I got an alert the second water touched it. I hope to never get an alert but now I’m confident I will if I ever have a leak.

The Samsung SmartThings Water Leak Sensor was easy to connect to the hub. The IFTTT Water Leak Applet was easy to set up as well. I am using the sensor to monitor my water heater. After connecting the water leak sensor to the SmartThings Hub, I poured some water in the water heater pan and my phone rang within seconds telling me the water leak notification that I set up in the IFTTT applet. Great products.

I purchased several leak sensors for my home. The units were very easy to sync. Another nice feature is the temperature display on the smart ho.e application

i travel a lot, i got this device for a hope that it works and alert me if any leak happens in the house. i tried it and it turned out to be working!

The sensor is very small and sensitive enough from a drop of water. I paired with wink hub and the pairing process is very straightforward

This is a sensor that I have tested and works well - as it is designed. Definitely worthwhile if you have a SmartThings bridge and system.

Needed the water leak sensor in the basement to check the for any leaks from the water heater. It was easy to set up with smartthings.

I thought the directions were lacking but it was so simple to set up and my system picked it up instantly. No problem for a newbee.,

This is a great little thing that is smart. Leak detection and flood detectors are a major reason I bought and set up smartthings in the first place.
