quiet powerful beautiful dishwasher!! Excellent purchase!

We have had this dishwasher for almost 2 months now, so I think I can give it a fair review. First off, this dishwasher does not clean well and is very noisy. I don’t get how people can say in reviews that they can hardly hear it running. We use our dishwasher daily, and in the 21 years living in our house, we have had 3 or 4 dishwashers. This is the noisiest one that we have had. You can hear it running in the next room with the TV on. The middle rake does not clean well and the upper rack is worthless since there is no spray arm under the rake, just a small one above. When drinking glasses ended up being even more soiled then before the dishwasher run, we arranged a service call under warranty. The first guy that served it, acted like we must be doing something wrong, and suggested that we change detergent and left. So we purchased the #1 rated detergent. It was no more effective then what we always use. So we set up another service call. This time a different guy came and said that there must be something wrong with the sump assembly. Which has all the pumps. So he ordered the part and yet another guy came and replaced the part. Nothing changed. Still not cleaning well.

I’ll be honest, this dishwasher is so disappointing. It cleans the dishes, but you can expect that particles remain after the wash. It is supposed to grate the food, but the food then splashes around during the wash and dry cycle. The particles then harden onto the dishes. So, they’re not really clean. It’s much louder than expected too. However, the song that ends a cycle is the longest and funniest appliance jingle I’ve ever heard. My kids love it. All THIRTY SECONDS OF IT!

I really love the Stormwash. That 3rd row is a deff plus!!

Within 1.5 years rue system broke down for no reason. First time was within a couple of month if using it. Required complete overhaul of the system except the housing. Second time, not waiting on what is going on. Will not use samsung appliances anymore.

We searched all over for the right dishwasher. Not too many bells and whistles, but the right racks & cleaning ability to take care of a small family. We decided on this one from Best Buy and not any of the other places because of the total tech offer which I find is very handy, even if you don't need it. More on that. The dishwasher was delivered into our new kitchen with the other appliances and was installed by my contractor. When it was plumbed and wired up a test wash was run and the washer began showing a code. After resetting breakers it continued to show a code. The manual said that code required we call a tech. I called total tech and was offered a repair visit that would take about 2 weeks to get or a replacement washer which would only take a couple days. I went for the replacement, who wants an appliance that has to be fixed first before use? The head contractor came over, looked at the install and determined quickly that the guys had not removed a plug in the plumbing that should have been removed and once that plug was out we retested it, ( it had something to do with water fill) and we got no codes and it worked perfectly. We have not used it but once since then, but I have a lot better feeling knowing BestBuy does exactly what they promised with the total tech program. Our old dishwasher was about 15 years old, barely cleaned a clean dish and was pretty cruddy inside from our city's terrible hard water. Hopefully the stainless in this one will hold up much better. Time will tell.

Love this dishwasher. Seems to be much quieter than the rating. Looks great and auto pops out after it’s done which is awesome.

It is a decent dishwasher. I like the chime at the end of the cycle It pops open to air dry the dishes which is a great feature as well. The dishes have been clean.

Well what can I say sleek and slender very well made the best part after the cycle is completed the door automatically open.

Very unassuming, hidden in plain sight, and so sleek and simple it’s a conundrum for what it does. Following the instructions with add-ins it’s like unboxing all-ware for the fist time but sterilized.

This is a great dishwasher!! My dishes have never been so clean. When the door popped open the first time I didn’t know it did that, but my dishes were dry and ready to put up not long after. Loading takes little getting used to due to the rack peg angles, but that’s just a learning curve to get over.

The 3rd top rack doesn’t clean at all and it sometimes has a hard time cleaning the dishes throughout, regardless of the settings. It’s worthwhile for the discounted price it was purchased for.

The dishwasher worked great for about three months. Suddenly it started to melt/deform plastic cups. These cups were all dishwasher safe and in the top rack. Beyond that they are high quality, such as tervis. The dishwasher also stopped completing full cycles, getting stuck on rinse and then shutting off. For a week it alternated between not finishing cycles and deforming cups. We contacted Samsung, who sent a 3rd party technician to diagnose the problem. They ran a five minute diagnostic, said it completed a full cycle and there were no issues. We told them it seemed unlikely it could have presented any of the issues we were having until those 5 minutes. They basically told us there was nothing they could do. We reached out to Samsung again and they blamed our cups. Even though we’ve never had this issue with any other dishwasher we’ve had at our home. Also, this dishwasher was fine for 3 months before the issue presented. Also, the dishes come out with a film on them, even though we used a liquid soap and a rinse aid, as advised by Samsung. Very unsatisfied.

I love my new dishwasher! Love that the door opens on its own when it is done so the dishes finish drying. I love the 3 racks.

This dishwasher is awful. I bought it to replace a 20 year old dishwasher, and was so excited to get actually clean dishes without having to handwash. I bought this model because of the high reviews and the Samsung discount for buying multiple appliances. I really regret that choice. The first pic is a coffee mug after going through the wash. It held black coffee, so I can't even say it's dried up sugar or anything. This happens with any cup that isn't short and straight up and down. The flatware is always left with residue. The spoons especially have a habit of being swirled around in the holder, and then the water is blocked from rinsing thoroughly and you get the residue shown. I load the machine accordjng to the instruction manual, and have tried varying the space between items to improve the result but so far no luck. I end up having to rewash at least a third of each load by hand. Also, the dry function doesn't really dry the dishes any faster than just setting them on a drying mat after handwashing. I'm hoping I can exchange it

We asked for the cheapest dishwasher in black stainless steel and this was it. Cannoy believe this is one of the cheapest models. Works great, LOVE the flatware tray at the top, and all the special features. Absolutley love it, had it for over a year now w/ no ussues. Oh! Only complaint is there's no way of telling how much drying aid is in the little cap. I tend to overfill and it creates issues with the rinsing getting too bubbly. But we've sort of figured it out good enough and it works perfectly now!

The dishwasher came missing front toe kick/access panel and stainless steel fromt panel is wavey / looks like all dented up. Poor quality control, when I called Samsung they told me I was 3 days late to call in they only stand behind problems like this for 30 days (it was 33). This was for a new build and got shipped early ( I did not remove from boxes, wanted to keep appliances protected until ready for install) Will no be purchasing any more Samsung appliances

This dishwasher comes with defective dish racks that Samsung will not replace but will charge you over $300 for and are not available for over 8 months. The coating they use does not seal the metal part of the dish racks which causes them to rust from the inside. I notified Samsung of this and they refused to replace it because the rust was not visible to me until a few months after the warrantee ran out.
