Runs very quietly. During Drying phase door opens slightly to allow moisture to escape.

I'm very happy with my purchase and the Storm Wash feature is a great addition. The standard wash time is a little long (just shy of 3 hours without the Storm Wash), but there is the express that you can add storm wash to that and it's just about 1 hr 10 minutes. It's a lot quieter than the decibels listed indicate...I really only hear the actual dishes as they're sprayed and of course the draining in my sink. Some dishes don't get cleaned, but I don't think this is the machine's error. It usually happen when you over stack your dishes, so they're not exposed to the spray, especially in express mode, so that's more user error. The door popping open at the end is kind of a nice feature as well, just make sure if your dishwasher is set under a cabinet or you have wood countertops to stick the steam shield on the bottom. You can measure the size and cut it out and stick it under your cabinet so you don't see it, but can preserve your wood. The song at the end is a little long and excessive, but there is a way to disable it; I haven't because it doesn't bother me, just my wife. :) The adjustable top rack is a very nice feature too particularly if you have taller wine glasses on top or taller pots/wider pans on the bottom. Like all dishwashers I have purchased in the past, you gotta love the stainless steel interior and the removable rack is nice as well. You can fit a day's worth of dishes inside, the caveat is that we're a family of two, so keep that in mind. I highly recommend this product for anyone. For the price, you get a lot of the 'bells and whistles' of some of the more expensive machines.

Very quiet the cycles are at least 2 hours. Seems to be a lot for one rack of dishes

I have never been a fan of using a dishwasher but having this Samsung has changed my mind. It gets the dishes clean and its easy to use. It looks great in a white kitchen. I highly recommend buying this unit.

What can I say? It works well and the dishes come out sparkling clean. I love the sleek look with the controls on the top. I used the storm wash feature once, but the dish didn’t have food really stuck on, so I really don’t know how it would go if it did. We were so concerned when we measured our space and looked at the specs. It looked like the dishwasher would not fit in the space of our old dishwasher. The sales person assured us it would and he was right. We were told that this was a very quiet dishwasher, but I do hear it in the sunroom (open to the kitchen) when we are watching TV. It doesn’t seem any quieter than the one we had, but it’s not loud either. Overall we are very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.

This dishwasher is the easiest to load of any dishwasher I've ever had. That, to me, is a biggie - almost as important as how clean it gets dishes! I think it does an adequate job of cleaning but you have to be careful about how you load it. I've found that, if there are too many items on the bottom rack, some of the glassware and cups on the top rack will sometimes have a residue. For that reason, I gave it only 4 stars. I have to say too though that the door opening to help the drying process is genius! Overall I'm very pleased.

I am a firefighter and have extensive experience with dishwashers at our firehouses. I was initially hesitant to get a Samsung after experience many problems with them. This dishwasher is a a cleaning AND DRYING! marvel. It cleans up after a family of four, two little kids, without missing a beat. Any dish left dirty is because it was loaded wrong. As long as I keep jetdry topped up everything comes out dry because it kicks the door open and has a fan that blows at the end of the cycle. The washer is really quiet but not so quiet you can't tell its running. I find completely silent dishwashers annoying because I always somehow manage to open it mid cycle. If your considering a black stainless dishwasher this is a must buy

My wife and I bought all new Samsung kitchen appliances when we purchased our most recent home. Having three young kids we do a lot of dishes. We’ve been really satisfied with this dishwasher. The only thing we don’t like about it is having to clean and rinse all the plates before putting them in. I understand scraping food and what not off but completely rinsing and cleaning the plates 1st seems a bit counter productive. Especially at almost $700 for the dishwasher.

It’s been 3 weeks now since I installed my new Samsung Top Control Stormwash Dishwasher. I have to say the moment it was installed, I fell in love with how beautiful and sleek it looked compared to my old dishwasher. The blue lights made it look very modern and fancy. I love how you can change the racks and make it adapt to whatever dish you put in. I actually put twice as much dishes compared to my old dishwasher and it always comes out sparkling clean. Another feature that blew me away was how quiet it was. I had to turn off my TV to hear if it was even running! There was only thing that had me scratching my head during the 1st few days was when I see the dishwasher partially open after the end of the cycle.... I had to ask my husband if he left the dishwasher open only to find out that it was another cool feature of the Samsung Stormwash called AutoRelease that’s suppose to partially open the dishwasher at the end of the wash to improve the drying cycle. Overall I’m so happy with my purchase. Definitely a good buy!!! #SamsungInsiders

THE DISHWASHER IS SLEEK AND GOOD LOOKING. LOOKS VERY HIGH END AND FLUSH IN THE KITCHEN. IT IS LITERALLY SILENT YOU CANNOT HEAR IT CLEANING. SO I STRONGLY RECOMMEND IF YOU LIKE QUIET TO GO WITH THIS! HOWEVER THE CLEANING IS GOOD BUT STILL HAS SOME DIRTY DISHES ON OCCASION TOWARDS THE FRONT OF THE UNIT. OVERALL I LOVE IT..
