The menu is easy to navigate and setup was a breeze. I have watched one 4k movie and the picture was very good but not better than my plasma tv with a regular blu ray disc. This could be the tv/movie combination though. I have a flagship plasma tv in my living room along with top of the line player. The internet connection was strong and it did not buffer when streaming

4k the easy way

Great 4K, UHD player

I had a new 4K Sony player and returned it because it would not play regular DVDs. This one works perfectly and since I have a samsung tv, it made sense. It is Wireless and that’s important so you can update as necessary. Otherwise, you will have to Use a Cat5 cable to connect to internet.

A Beautiful Player

I tried a different brand 4k player and I had problems with playing 4k discs, they would freeze up, but the Samsung so gar hasn't had any problems. Great apps, very appealing onscreen menus loaded with useful information and a simple remote that doesn't feel cheap. I love this player

Vibrant Colors

As soon as I put in a disc I could tell the quality difference. I think the newer players have improved greatly, the colors were spectacular, and the sound quality has improved also

GREAT DEAL, NOT OVER THE WIFI - GREAT PLAYER
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had already hard wired my viewing room pre-construction, always preferring to limit the amount of devices using wi-fi, where possible, so being rewarded with a much better price for the same quality player as the wi-fi version - win win. Picture quality, controls, startup time, all non-issues/ BAU.
