I had already hard wired my viewing room pre-construction, always preferring to limit the amount of devices using wi-fi, where possible, so being rewarded with a much better price for the same quality player as the wi-fi version - win win. Picture quality, controls, startup time, all non-issues/ BAU.

If you’re just looking for 4K streaming Blu Ray player that is wired not WiFi, this is right for you. Good affordable price with the same HD quality. At first I was thinking this wasn’t wired. But it was too late to return it since I bought an open box. However I don’t use the player that often because I have 4K streaming TV.

We are a Samsung household when it comes to our entertainment devices. This 4k player is easy to install and auto syncs to any other Samsung devices in the house.We launched the 4k friendly apps and were pleasantly surprised at their efficiency. Display is great and can't wait to experience more with the unit.

I originally was looking for a simple DVD player for my many DVD's that I don't ever want to get rid of due to nostalgic reasons! When I came across this one, I just couldn't resist! It's such a nice machine and looks amazing! And I get to watch screeners on it!

This Samsung player is great quality. It is thin but long, wish it was a little smaller.

This is a solid 4K solution for your 4K TV. After researching and price checking I realized the only difference between this model and the more expensive was wifi capability. WiFi can be spotty so a wired solution is actually superior. Save some money and go with this ethernet solution.

It's good, remote can be pointed at the TV while the player is at least 12 feet to the side on the same wall.

if you want to use Dolby Atmos this seems to be a must. I love my theater room and this was a great addition

It has good picture but dvd looks bad so need all blue ray and 4K blue ray also looks good.

I finally broke into 4K format with this player and a LG 4K TV that was on sale. Both were fantastic and I started to switch to buying only new releases on 4K. I was surprised at how good some TV shows such as Westworld looked in 4K when I bought it later. Samsung products never disappoint.

Salesperson showed this unit to me, stating it was a good add-on to my TV {65"} & Soundbar (also Samsung). He was right. The deal was even better when I learned that unit was on sale (saved $150 off regular cost). This is my first Blu-Ray player, I'm very happy with the unit's picture & sound.

This blu ray player functions well, my husband would have liked the next model up for wireless operation.

Have to catch up on movies. The directions were not clear nor accurate but with help it's working fine.

I picked this UHD player up when I bought a new TV and found out my old blu ray player was not compatible with the new TV. This player works well with Blu Ray movies and regular dvd's. I have not tried it with a 4k movie yet. Do note that this is a wired player, not wireless.

The picture quality looks and sounds amazing with my recent purchase of my Samsung Q6 TV. It paired well with my Sonos Beam without any sound skips from my Vizio sound bar. What surprised me that it auto-saved your last viewing if you had to step out while watching a movie.

Installation was a snap and it's auto connecting to my Samsung tv was so easy, I didn't do a thing.

I was in the market for a 4k blu-ray player and found this one for the price, money and features to be a good option. Picked up Dunkirk 4k rental at the store and gave it a try. Amazing how good the picture on my Vizio 4K looked and sounded great on the 10 year old Sony 5.1 receiver.
