I purchased this 4k player because it was on sale and can play 4k movies as well as up-convert bluray. I don't use the online features as my tv does that. It's quiet and does it's job.

While the player works wonderfully, it lacks one essential ingredient that would not allow me to go back to it again. The box should state that it doesn't have wifi capability, meaning that it has to connect to you modem. This may not seem important until you have to update the player. Then you will have to go online and download the update to a USB storage device, then use the USB on the player to download the update. If you can use a modem, then it works, but my modem is one floor away. The over the air modem connections cost $80.00, which is $10.00 more then the next level player that has wifi built in. If the TV has smart capability, then you don't need it on the player, if not, then you're in the same situation as the update.

Bought this off a whim I didn't need streaming because my TV has streaming Starts up really quick picture is perfect just make sure you're setting is HDR on your ULTRA HDTV I also bought planet earth II which is a must best quality bluray 4K Highly recommended

The Samsung M7500 HD DVD player is simple to use, has a simple remote and has a great picture. No wifi but my entertainment stand has my extender on it and I have the Samsung wired!

We've been loving the 4k picture quality of our new Samsung blu-ray player. We tend to stick with the Samsung brand for most tv related items, and once again we are happy with our purchase. We haven't really needed to use the smart tv app features since they're already included on our tv, but for those without a smart tv they worked great when i tested them out. It also looks sleek and modern on our shelf.

keeps asking to connect to internet and where i have it installed does not have an ethernet cable...what!!! it doesn't have wifi? anyway, image is great and don't really care about the apps on the DVD player, as I have everything i need on the TV apps.

I haven't owned anything but Samsung TVs and DVD players in the last 10-15 years, because they stand the test of time and in my opinion, have the best picture out there. This 4k Blu Ray player is no exception. I didn't think the quality difference would be that noticeable, but I don't see any reason to go to a movie theater again when I can watch movies with this quality at home. Kudos, Samsung!

easy hook up picture really jumps out at you when you play a 4k disc.great price.

The player is easy to use and the movies load up fast. I already have a Samsung TV which was nice to use my TV remote to control the player without any syncing. It makes Blu Ray movies look very close to 4K quality. The only drawback to this player is no wifi. You'll need to run a cable from your router to the player to use the Smart feature. This is the only minor inconvenience.

Samsung is the only brand of tv or player found in my house because of the quality of their products. Love our 4K tv and now our 4K blue ray player as well!!

upgraded my blue ray player to a 4k ultra player for christmas this year. Last year upgraded the tv. So far it's been a great player, easy to set up and use

I needed a DVD player with digital output. This player had everything I wanted at a very good price, Hookup was easy and player works exactly as advertised.

This may be the simplest DVD to set up that I’ve ever seen. And it performs flawlessly. Paired with a Samsung Smart TV, you have a great viewing experience.

Good Picture and sound with Samsung curve tv, Denan Receiver with Bose Speakers. NO internal Wireless device to connect to Internet. Must use Ethernet cable, lucky I had extender with 4 Ethernet connectors or would of returned it.

I bought this dvd player to match up with a new television set. It was a straight-forward connection and I am very happy with its' performance.

This is the non WiFi version hence cheaper If like me you have a smart tv with wireless then you don’t need this to be as well. Can also hardwire if required Good upscaliing on normal DVD’s. Did think that with 4K dvds the picture would be slightly better, feel it’s good but not awesome can get a better picture with 4K streaming but for the price a decent buy

I bought this player to replace a former player I donated to my church. After the setup I was amazed at the great picture I was seeing. It’s a 4K player and I don’t have a 4K TV as yet. But even on the old TV, the picture was sharper. My blue ray disks looked great. Not only does it play 4K disks, but regular blue ray and CDs. A great player I am enjoying.

This player has great picture & sound quality. I haven’t actually used the streaming aspect of it yet, but I am looking forward to trying it.
