I can finally see true 4K awesome DVD player setup was easy and streaming from Netflix and Hulu are is awesome

Cannot beat this player for the price. It's a great brand with all the options and I couldn't be more pleased.

Beyond it's great picture and contemporary look, this player works great with my Samsung TV, automatically switching from TV to player when opened and returning to TV when done. The player also works very well using the TV's universal remote. Overall, a very smart player and yes, I would buy it again.

Not only great movies but the sound is wonderful, I watched the new Wonder Woman movie on it. It is fantastic

I've bought many different brands of DVD and Blu Ray players but this is my first Samsung player and I have to say it won't be my last Samsung purchase. Beautiful piece of equipment with excellent apps, smooth playback and great build quality. Getting online is a breeze and I have four hard drives hooked up and it plays everything with zero problems. Of course Blu Rays and 4k discs look awesome when played. All in all a great purchase.

This player seems to be at the cutting edge and works very well I think it is well worth the purchase

bought the bluray because we upgraded our tv to 4k. works fine, we did not go with a wireless option due to us not needing a smart bluray because we have a smart tv

I have all Samsung theater products. This is a great addition with exceptional picture and graphics.

Very quiet and display is excellent. Only difference between this and 8500 is that this product REQUIRES WIRED INTERNET if you want to use the smart hub(apps within the player menu such as Netflix, vudu, etc), and cheaper choice. If you already have a 4K TV that means you prob have wireless internet built in and already have apps on the TV so you don't even really need the internet if you want to have a 4k player on the side. Update is available through Samsung website where you can download it to a USB or you can wire it to internet once for the initial setup and software update but after that you are good to go. VERY HAPPY with purchase

I bought this player when I picked up the 8500 series Samsung 65 inch 4k TV. Awesome movie viewing!

My only issue is that it does not always play well with older DVDs. I have DVDs that auto formatted perfectly with my previous player. Yet with this one, they letterbox in the middle of the screen, which looks pretty silly on a 65 inch TV. Otherwise, when playing newer DVDs and especially the 4K Ultra HD ones, the playback is Outstanding! So beautiful!

As usual, Samsung delivered. This is a excellent 4K Blu Ray player. I was going to buy the Xbox but realized it didn't have a blu ray player and I don't really play many games so this saved me hundreds of dollars and works wonderfully. Excellent picture on my 4K tv.

Not only is it a wonderful compliment to any 4K tv, but the up conversion of regular DVDs looks awesome. Plus, it doesn't have that annoying countdown clock on the front so it goes almost unnoticeable on the shelf. A nice choice for the price, especially if you don't need wi-fi.

was debating between the one which had the wifi build in or the wired but most tvs nowadays are smart tvs so this is the perfect 4k player and a step above LG.
