This unit produces a good picture and good sound, especially for the money (not quite as good as my Oppo BD player, but consider it is less than 1/5 the price), and overall is easy to use; however, it is absolutely inexcusable not to equip it with something so simple as a light to tell whether the unit is on or off. I would still recommend it; however, be very sure when you turn it off.

This DVD player performs well, has an intuitive menu, and has a host of features. It is a good player for the money.

Setup was easy, works well. Would like it to have a light on it so that you could tell it was on.

Samsung Blue/Ray DVD with Wifi is a a plus. Now only does the player give you a great picture for viewing along with sound . Streaming music from this device is very enjoyable as well.

This blu-ray player has everything we needed. We purchased this to replace the blu-Ray purchased when the technology first became readily available. The price was just right. We didn't realize how slow our older player was to start up until we got this new one. Built in wifi and apps makes it well worth it. No longer have a need to use a roku, Apple TV, etc. so there are less cords and visible boxes on the shelf. Great purchase-works well with Samsung TV too with remote that works both items. You won't be disappointed.

I really needed this device for the Wi-Fi capability, of course the blu ray is a bonus as well. I went with a cheaper brand at first, should have known better; always love Samsung!

I like the sleek look of the DVD player. It is only about an 1 1/2 inches tall. The TV we own is not a smart tv, so we use the smart DVD player to access Amazon and Netflix for movies.

Recently set up the player, my husband commented on the fact, that it should have a front panel indicator light to show that it is on. Other than that, it seems to work well. Easy set up, no problems. Good device for the great price of $49.99. Caveat - Less than a months use as of the review.

I bought this after the Sony I bought would not play Blue-Rays or DVDs. This Samsung is great, and was a fair price. I love the fact it is Wireless, and has a ton of built in Apps.

If you don't have a smart TV and are looking for a blu-ray player, I'd recommend this model. Easy setup and has apps like Netflix so you can stream stuff as well.

A great little package that I bought to replace my old LG Blu-Ray player. This thing was half the size and weight of the old one, but came with several more features! Wireless internet connectivity (even through my phone's mobile hotspot) which makes it super easy to keep the firmware up-to-date, streaming apps such as YouTube, Netflix, and Hulu just to name a few, as well as USB connectivity for viewing digital content from a USB drive or portable hard disk drive including video, photos and music! I've yet to test out connectivity to my home computer for content sharing, but so far I've really enjoyed this player. My lone complaint is there is no LED indicator on the front to display info, nor is there any sort of lighting whatsoever to indicate whether the unit is on or off. This is a minor gripe, however, and the player functions just fine otherwise. Picture and sound quality are exactly what you'd expect from a 1080p HD device - loud and lovely!

I needed to replace a 5 year old DVD player that stopped working correctly. This one plays the DVD wells and allows me to stream Netflix with no problems. Meets all requirements.

Great player with fantastic extras. I've got Netflix, Pandora, and a great blue ray player. Plays 5.1 on Netflix. No buffering problems with WiFi. Downloaded update with no problems.

Works very well and with ease. Easy to set up. Picture quality is good.

Really the only thing I could say about this that was a little disappointing there is no indicator light anywhere on the unit in to indicate that the power is off or on now unless I have a defective product there is a power button on the unit of course but the button does not light up or mine it doesn't according to the directions instructions I see no evidence of either a little disappointing there as I have left it on 4 days and not knowing it was on

Love this blue ray player got it for our parents and it is really easy to use and works great.

The unit is top of the line for me. I've been using it for several weeks now and have noticed a considerable decrease in the load time for movies. Because it has wifi it can download updates by itself although it does ask first. I haven't used the wifi yet but if i wanted to i could view videos from my pc on my tv. I can also use some of the streaming services like amazon and netflix. Also access to features like closed captioning are easy peasy and quick. I give this unit five stars and would recommend to a friend.
