It's much better than the last samsung model that i purchased a year ago. The only bad thing i have to say is that it doesn't have a light on the front to show if it's on or off. If i forget to turn it off it could be on for days until i go to use our again. That seemed odd to me.

purchased this mainly for its wifi feature. It size is so small and works great on the corner shelf below my flat panel corner mounted tv. It was a breeze to setup and maneuver through all of the features. The only bad thing I can say is I wish it had a light on the front to tell you that it is either on or off

Blu ray player has great features and is easy to navigate. On screen picture is awesome. The only problem I have with the player is that there is no light on the player to indicate that the player is on. Easy hook up and set up.

I'm NOT a techy, so I was astonished when I actually installed this correctly in under 10 minutes! The unit is tiny, takes up very little space.There is NOT an HMDI cord included, buying one increased the price a few dollars. The lack of an 'on/off' light on the front is annoying, but it does have an internal Ethernet connection the other inexpensive player didn't. The remote buttons are small & somewhat confusing, but there is a full-page picture with some explanations in the manual (included on paper in box). The picture is excellent & BluRay & regular DVDs played with no problems. If you play DVDs or stream everyday, the lack of power light will be annoying frequently, for lighter use the inexpensive price & Ethernet outweighs that.

Great value for the price. It is a basic blu-ray player, has built in wifi and all the streaming apps you need. It was perfect for my garage where I just wanted a mid-level player with streaming capability. Works like a charm! I have it connected through a HD Pass-thru A/V receiver and an HD projector. Picture looks great, sound is great! Easy set up! Way better & more reliable than the Sony Blu-ray player it replaced!

I was looking for a small, inexpensive BluRay player and this model hits the mark. It was easy to set up, has wifi and internet access and comes with all the apps I needed. Plays great, the only draw back is that, as others have complained, there is no light to let you know the player is on or not. With that being said, when you turn the player on, it automatically changes the setting on the TV to the proper HDMI hook up and when you power it off, it goes back to a different setting, so the light isn't a big deal, but would be nice.

Use it for smart tv and usb for watching movies off hard drive. Works well with network wifi connection. On occasional use of blue ray it has functioned flawlessly. Only complaint is no lights to know if power is on or off.

Bought this unit to replace my Panasonic, that is getting slow and starting to fail. This unit works fine, Ned has built in apps, that also work as expected. My only disappointment, would be that the cheaper models don't have options for optical audio output. I guess one of my next purchases will have to be a new SSP. Other than that, the set up on this unit was quick & easy. Internet was easy, both for wifi, and hard lined connection. I have loved my Panasonic, but if having to replace, I know that Samsung makes some great product also.

Previous Blu-ray player stopped playing blu-ray discs, but played DVDs. Shopped around and found this one for a great price and it runs smooth. I also enjoy the apps that can be used since it is wi-fi enabled.

This is reasonably priced blu-ray player. The player was easy to install. The wifi hooked up to our router without a problem. The picture quality for dvd and blu-ray disc was excellant.

This blue player with Wi-Fi works so well very clear picture no problems easy to set up and the Wi-Fi feature is great the price is also very very good from high school I do recommend this flyer.

I love this bluray player. It does everything for me and my family. It doesn't just play bluray's but it plays regular dvd's and I can also watch Netflix and download other apps. The only thing that bothers me sometimes is that it takes forever to come on and it makes me wonder if the item is defective. But I believe its okay it just takes a little bit for it to come on. We have bluray players all over the house but I was happy to get one for my room so now my kids can enjoy and spend time with me and we can watch movies together without having to go to different rooms for Netflix, BluRays, and regular dvds.

Tiny profile, plenty of built-in apps, LAN port, wifi, easy setup...it works!

I originally purchased one of these for my mom, and when it only took me a couple minutes to set up and get it running for her, I had to have my own! Wifi capability was a MUST for me, and this player was the right price. I was leaning towards a streaming media device (roku, etc), but for about $10 more I could get this... a Blu-Ray player AND streaming device! I've had NO issues with it so far, Netflix freezes occasionally but that could be from the wifi connection. I love the product's light weight, picture is great, setup was super easy, and overall a GREAT purchase!

I purchased this blu-ray player because my TV is also a Samsung, and I wanted them to be compatible. Although this player has no bells and whistles, it consistently plays blu-rays and DVDs, and also streams Netflix well. All in all, I am pleased with this machine. I do wish it had an external display of some kind.

This is a good streaming Blu-ray player for the money. I don't have a theater type sound system, just a 50 inch Sony HD TV and an internet connection. It does all it's supposed to. There is no power indicator light and sometimes it would come on automatically when I turned on my TV but I just had to figure out how it interacts with my TV and remote to be able to use it properly. A good buy.

This is a good blu-ray player. Simple plug & play unit that has a very nice picture. I love being able to stream Netflix & Amazon Prime too. I do miss the on-off light. Samsung, would it really have cost that much to add the light on the unit? But that is the only negative I have found so far.

Good buy for the price. Let's get the cons out of the way. 1. They all look alike. If you buy the least expensive unit or the top of the line you can't tell them apart by looking at them. I guess that could go pro or con depending on your view. 2. The remote is a little bit on the small side. If you need reading glasses put them on. It's packed with lots of buttons and tiny words. 3. For the 3rd. and final con, there's no power light. Nothing to indicate the unit is on. My tv is another matter, but, it has 4 HDMI slots, a TV, DVI, S-Video, Video, YPbPr1 & 2 and a PC slot. If you're like me and live with someone who pushes every button on the TV remote before they call you into the room and say "The TV's not working right" you're gonna be frustrated. A lot. Now, the Pro's 1. It's small. It fits pretty much anywhere. 2. It has apps so it replaced my Roku. Moved the Roku into the guest room. (That could be a negative at some point though.) 3. Wireless internet connection. No more than a power cord and the HDMI. If your internet source isn't right next to your TV no worries. Before you would have had to run an Ethernet cable long enough to get from the TV to your router. That's gone. 4. It's not overly complicated. Fairly straightforward. 5. Overall worth the money.

Its a great and simple to use blu-ray player that I have not had any issues with. The wifi function also makes it super easy to watch online streaming services and with all the apps includes it basically turns your tv into a smart one.
