Bought this player purely for Wi-Fi and Netflix streaming. We still watch the occasional Blu-ray movie but this purchase was just for streaming purposes. Works well. Plug and play. Only frustrating item is several times, after watching 2 shows back to back, the player will just shut off. Ran an update and have not had any further issues.

Love Samsung blu Ray players , feature wise this is great, not in love with the looks though

This blu-ray player is extremely easy to use and setup. 1 cable for power, 1 cable for HDMI. 2 buttons: Open/Close and Power On. Plays Blu-Rays but also includes being able to stream with apps like Netflix and uses wifi to connect. Too Easy!

Seems a little slow to load at times but plays really nice. Excellent player for the price.

My kids watch their movies everyday, and on weekends forget it, all day, so this bluray player is perfect, compact and wifi, my kids love it!

This is my first Blu Ray player & I absolutely love it! Built in wifi, steaming through all the amazing apps that Samsung has are the best! Huge Samsung fanatic!

Easy to use, Plays Blu-Ray and regular DVD's. I wanted it to turn my non-smart TV into one.

Bought this for streaming instead of buying a smart TV. Setup was easy, even for an old woman like me. Only complaint I have is there is no indicator light when the unit is on. I guess you figure it out when you can't stream, but I would like it better if it had an indicator light on it so I could make sure it was off when I am done.

Easy set-up and very small foot print for physical space.

Easy to hook up especially for someone who is not all that tech savvy. It improves the picture on all of my older DVDs and I'm very happy with this product.

It was super easy to set up. Now able to stream Netflix and Amazon from my not so smart Samsung HD TV. Oh, and of course, it plays BDs, as well as DVDs.

Really great price for this Blu-ray DVD player it's actually the third one we've bought for our home! Love the ability to get on Netflix!

This item was priced perfectly for the clear picture it provides and apps that come with it. I would purchase another one in a heartbeat.

Takes a few seconds to load Blu-Ray but a lot faster than the 11 year old one it replaced. The automatic firmware update worked great with my WIFI. It was what I think are standard apps for todays Blu-Ray players. i.e., Netflix. They are also on my TV so won't be using the Blu-ray player apps. The Blu-ray player turns off automatically. I think this is when I turn off my Samsung HDTV, but it could also be a time not used turn off. Couldn't find this in the manual. It's easy to set up, update, and use, Highly recommend.

I bought this player as I purchased a new TV and my old TV had a dvd player built in. I figured I would upgrade to a blu-ray player, and the bonus was this came Wi-Fi enabled. Now I can watch Netflix right on my TV. Player works great for blu-rays & basic DVD's as well. Glad I purchased it!

I got this blu-ray player on cyber week. I have had good experiences with samsung blu-ray players so I thought I would get another one for a different room. I like that it has all the apps that I really want...ie vudu, amazon, hulu and netflix. I do not like that you can't add apps, that is really the only drawback for me. Would recommend this player to family and friends.
