We bought this player to replace one that died. It plays our newer blu ray discs and also our older ones as well. The wi-fi was easy to setup and we use it frequently with Netflix and amazon prime video. We still play dvds but mainly use it for streaming.

Works great and gives a great pic. One issue that I did not realize was that there is not a light to indicate if the player is on or off so we have to watch the TV screen to see if it is on or off when we push the on button for confirmation it is on. I prefer a power on light.

This is very easy to use. Has limited buttons and also has buttons for netflix so it is easy to get to for people who are not good with lots of buttons and/or technology.

It plays blu-rays and DVDs, has wi-fi, and has access to several apps for streaming content.

This was my first blu-ray player with wi-fi and i really enjoy being able to stream right from my player.

This Blu-ray player works as it should and is fairly simple to set up and operate. This is a basic, no-frills Blu-ray player that is light weight and thin. The one feature I really miss: there IS NOT a power indicator light to let you know when the player is powered on. It's easy to remove a disc and forget to power the player off.

Good unit for the price. Too many plastic components. Wonder about long term durability.

Purchased this to go along with an older smart TV that didn't have wifi access (only cabled internet). This blu ray player is great! It starts up pretty quickly and doesn't have any issues streaming hulu, netflix or amazon prime videos! May need to pick another one up as I have a Sony one that has problems connecting to my network daily. Only drawback to this for me is it did not have HBO Now available.

GREAT NAME IN ELECTRONICS. ITEM IS A REPLACEMENT FOR A PREVIOUS UNIT AT A GREAT PRICE (PRICE AND VALUE SO GOOD WE DECIDED TO UPDATE OUR CURRENT SAMSUNG).

We love having Samsung TV and Samsung Blu Ray because it syncs up and you can use 1 remote. We love having Netflix on it too. I am a Samsung person after these purchases.

We really love this DVD player. It plays regular and blue ray which is nice since we have both kinds.

Purchased a new TV and was informed a Blue-ray was a necessity. They were right. I have totally enjoyed having Blue-ray. Makes such a big difference when viewing movies.

We were in need of a Blu-Ray player and the Samsung fit the bill. We already own the 5100 model, and for a few dollars more could go for this model. It doesn't disappoint as it plays DVD's, Blu-Rays, and streams media. The quality is excellent. The only down side was plugging it in and finding out the software needed to be upgraded. It is easy to do but why to a brand new unit?

A well designed unit, easy operation, easy install, giving high quality input to 4K TV.

As any Samsung device I've had, this player hooked up easily and performs as it should.

Bought this for a friend's birthday and she LOVES it! I have the older version of it and it still works perfectly. If you want a simple wifi blu-ray player, get this one!

My husband and I bought this blu-ray player specifically for the fact that it comes with wifi for connecting to apps like Netflix and Hulu. So far we're very happy with it.
