Before getting this drive I was editing videos off of google drive and ok internet. it’s a wedding video so we shot it all in 4k and it was a 13 hour shoot. We had so much footage and google drive just could not handle it at all. So in panic ran to Best Buy got this ssd and it was a game changer. Took me a night to upload all the footage but after that loading it was clean. Normally I would just download footage to my computer but in this case it was so huge it wasn’t worth putting it on. This ssd saved this entire project and boosted my productivity 10x! I still use it regularly for my everyday videos it’s just really reliable and the run speed is great.

I used to transfer footage from my shoots via online file-sharing, a slow and sometimes unreliable process. Now this SSD allows me to transfer footage from second cameras immediately after the shoot, quickly and reliably. Additionally, the drive is fast, allowing me to edit from the drive as well.

I’m a retired IT support professional and the Samsung SSD has always been a solid choice. Worth the price for its reliability and performance. This purchase was for a dedicated daily Macrium Relect backup. It takes just minutes complete with the high speed USB.

This is my fourth Samsung SSD! They work great, have excellent security, and are easy to use. They offer fast data retrieval and don’t require expert knowledge to operate. They’re also durable and can withstand falls or accidents. You’ll use this SSD for years to come.

works great! plenty of storage. It has a Safety measure that allows You to set a Password on your storage device, even if You lose it No one can access it!

The size is so convenient for carrying around, and the material seems to provide good protection (at least compared to my previous external drive, which had metal casing and was easily scratched). The usb-c cable provided is also very secure, so there's no risk of it detaching accidentally. A note: when installing on a MacBook, you may encounter an error where the drive won't be recognised. This is due to Apple's default security settings, and you will have to look up a tutorial to fix this. It took me 10-15 minutes to resolve.

Best of the best! Really quick read and upload speeds. Very compact small sized great for travel. And good quality so no damage if dropped

Excellent portable SSD. I use it for all travel/deployments. Very light weight, thin, and textured feel. USB 3 so you don’t have to carry a ton of cables around

Absolutely love it! I’m definitely getting a second one soon!!

Product works well, speedy and reliable. My only issue is that the protective sleeve catches dust like nothing else, but that doesn't interfere at all with usage.

It was easy to set up. I only had to attach it with a choice of one of the 2 cables it came with. I installed the app (found on the drive) onto my MacBook Pro. That was all I had to do. Tip: I got the "T9 Portable SSD 1TB" to download Google Photos onto the T9 SSD drive. I used Safari which has options that you can change that will allow you to automatically redirect what you are downloading directly to the T9, thus saving you a step.

Goood everybody needs to get one of these for anything

Cannot download Samsung SSD Portable from Playstore for my android Samsung Note 20 because it says the application was made for an older phone. Downloaded Samsung Magician but that does nothing but update the firmware on the SSD. No instructions included. Then I tried to connect to my Mac Airbook M2 and it is unreadable. I'm going to return this because sheez I just want a plug a play to transfer photos. I don't know how to use this, and there are no online manuals available on the Samsung website either. Not user friendly going to return this.

The Samsung T9 Portable SSD has been excellent for both storage and gaming. Transfer speeds are lightning fast when connected through a USB 3.2 port, and performance is strong enough to run games directly from the drive without noticeable slowdowns. I keep most of my Steam library on this SSD when traveling with my laptop, and games load and play smoothly. The 1TB capacity gives me plenty of room while keeping my laptop’s internal storage free. It’s compact, fast, and dependable, making it an excellent portable drive for gamers or anyone regularly transferring large files.

The Samsung T9 Portable SSD 1TB is a fast, dependable, and easy-to-use external drive. It transfers large files quickly, feels sturdy and well-made, and is compact enough to take anywhere. Setup is simple, and it works with most computers and devices. While you’ll need a compatible USB port to get the highest speeds, it still performs very well overall. If you need reliable portable storage for work, school, gaming, or backups, the Samsung T9 is an excellent choice. I’ve been really happy with the Samsung T9 Portable SSD 1TB. It’s incredibly fast, and moving large files takes much less time than I expected. The drive feels solid and durable, but it’s still small enough to carry in my pocket or bag. Setting it up was quick and easy, and I haven’t had any issues with it. It’s a little more expensive than some other portable SSDs, but the speed and reliability make it worth the investment. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality external drive.

The T9 SSD easily integrated with my HP laptop to provide me with a portable backup for all my data and picture files. It’s performance, speed, and memory capacity exceeds my expectations and I am quite pleased to have purchased.

I use the Samsung T7 as an external drive with my MacBook for photo editing, and it’s been outstanding. It’s incredibly small and lightweight, but the speed is legit — fast file transfers and smooth performance even with large photo libraries. Plug-and-play on macOS, no issues at all. It also looks clean and modern, which is a nice bonus when it’s always on my desk or in my bag. Reliable, fast, and well-designed. Exactly what I wanted in a portable SSD.

I’m very happy with this product. The quality exceeded my expectations, and everything works exactly as described. Setup was easy, the design looks great, and it feels durable and well made. I’ve been using it regularly and it has made my daily routine much more convenient. One thing I really appreciate is the reliability and performance. It’s clear that attention was given to the details. The price was also very reasonable for the quality you receive. Shipping was fast, packaging was secure, and the entire experience with Best Buy was smooth from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a dependable and high-quality option.

I’ve been using the Samsung T9 Portable SSD mainly for storing projects and large files, and the speed difference compared to a regular external drive is very noticeable. Transfers feel quick and smooth, especially when moving big datasets or videos. The build quality also feels solid - small enough to carry everywhere but still sturdy. Setup was simple, and it works well across different devices without any issues. I also like that it doesn’t heat up too much during longer transfers, which was something I worried about before buying. The only thing to keep in mind is that you really need a fast USB-C port to get the full speed benefits. Overall, it’s a dependable and high-performance portable SSD that’s been great for both work and personal use.

I like the performance, the speed, and how small this ssd is. It works well with my samsung book 6 ultra and my S24 Ultra. Definitely would recommend.
