Before getting this drive I was editing videos off of google drive and ok internet. it’s a wedding video so we shot it all in 4k and it was a 13 hour shoot. We had so much footage and google drive just could not handle it at all. So in panic ran to Best Buy got this ssd and it was a game changer. Took me a night to upload all the footage but after that loading it was clean. Normally I would just download footage to my computer but in this case it was so huge it wasn’t worth putting it on. This ssd saved this entire project and boosted my productivity 10x! I still use it regularly for my everyday videos it’s just really reliable and the run speed is great.

This is my fourth Samsung SSD! They work great, have excellent security, and are easy to use. They offer fast data retrieval and don’t require expert knowledge to operate. They’re also durable and can withstand falls or accidents. You’ll use this SSD for years to come.

works great! plenty of storage. It has a Safety measure that allows You to set a Password on your storage device, even if You lose it No one can access it!

The size is so convenient for carrying around, and the material seems to provide good protection (at least compared to my previous external drive, which had metal casing and was easily scratched). The usb-c cable provided is also very secure, so there's no risk of it detaching accidentally. A note: when installing on a MacBook, you may encounter an error where the drive won't be recognised. This is due to Apple's default security settings, and you will have to look up a tutorial to fix this. It took me 10-15 minutes to resolve.

Product works well, speedy and reliable. My only issue is that the protective sleeve catches dust like nothing else, but that doesn't interfere at all with usage.

It was easy to set up. I only had to attach it with a choice of one of the 2 cables it came with. I installed the app (found on the drive) onto my MacBook Pro. That was all I had to do. Tip: I got the "T9 Portable SSD 1TB" to download Google Photos onto the T9 SSD drive. I used Safari which has options that you can change that will allow you to automatically redirect what you are downloading directly to the T9, thus saving you a step.

Goood everybody needs to get one of these for anything

Cannot download Samsung SSD Portable from Playstore for my android Samsung Note 20 because it says the application was made for an older phone. Downloaded Samsung Magician but that does nothing but update the firmware on the SSD. No instructions included. Then I tried to connect to my Mac Airbook M2 and it is unreadable. I'm going to return this because sheez I just want a plug a play to transfer photos. I don't know how to use this, and there are no online manuals available on the Samsung website either. Not user friendly going to return this.

I purchased this storage unit to safe keep digital photos and home movies I recently had converted. It has a lot more room on it than I anticipated and I was happy with how much I am able to store in it. The one downside to the product is that it took me a little bit to figure out how to work the darn thing. I’m a senior citizen and not as tech savvy as the current generation. A clearer set of directions would have been helpful.
