Very good and reliable portable storage. Small, light weight, and because of the rubber-like casing it doesnt slide around in my bag or on my desk. I've kept it on top of my laptop under my desk and never had an issue with it heating up, even when running my VSTis from it. I definitely plan to get a couple more.

I use the Samsung T7 as an external drive with my MacBook for photo editing, and it’s been outstanding. It’s incredibly small and lightweight, but the speed is legit — fast file transfers and smooth performance even with large photo libraries. Plug-and-play on macOS, no issues at all. It also looks clean and modern, which is a nice bonus when it’s always on my desk or in my bag. Reliable, fast, and well-designed. Exactly what I wanted in a portable SSD.

What can I say about the T9? SSD from Samsung. Samsung electronics have effectively replaced Sony electronics technology I need. They may not have anything close to the customer service. Sony provided again, nobody does anymore. What the drive boasts it actually is!. It's both fast and reliable. Consistent and well made. It's cabling still isn't specialized as most hardware seems to still be these days but it still obtains maximum performance Along with other Samsung Electronics at my 2009 TV that lasted till 2023, Only the glue that held the HDMI cables in place Finally forced All Samsung TV's mine and clients to be retired. An odd thing that I've only seen products made in America which have destructive mechanisms act in such a fashion. By all means, I recommend Samsung. It's SSD is consistent. Its product is durable liability has been proven. Ohh, yes. Forgot to add the security front end that you can use on the Samsung is exceptional and easy to use You can lock up your device without overly complicated methods of understanding. I only wish they had a sensible backup solution to safeguard the os completely Like it's home-grown imaging or file recovery system But I am working on that

Bought 4TB and 1TB units for streaming raw industrial measurement data in a hot outdoor environment, where the drive got short term exposure to a measured 145deg F surface temp. Although the blue activity LED is hard to see in bright daylight for system troubleshooting, that is a minor drawback and we’ll buy more.

The speeds on this thing are absolutely insane! It can transfer large video files in a matter of seconds, and it seems super durable with the rubber covering.

I needed a reliable, fast, and quiet external hard drive. The T9 does all 3 with ease. I tend to forget it’s even there. I run a virtual machine entirely from the hard drive, and it feels as quick as my macbook pro itself. It doesnt make a sound, and is lightweight and compact.
